Absolutely, and a woman is never too old to receive one!
My husband’s favorite recipe!

While a loving husband finds it distressing and difficult to do something that causes his wife pain and makes her cry, as the man responsible for her welfare and the welfare of the relationship/marriage, and as the HOH, her disobedience or misbehavior will at times require you to provide a consequence that is memorable enough to keep her from repeating the unacceptable behavior ever again. In my home and marriage that is a long, hard spanking on her bare hiney until it is bright red, very sore, and she is crying tears of genuine sorrow and remorse.
My Reasons for D/s
This weekend I spent some time around my parents and that reinforced for me one reason why I need a D/s relationship. They have been married for almost 50 years, but they fight like cats and dogs. Yelling, screaming, saying awful things to each other.
And why do these kinds of things happen in vanilla relationships? I think it’s usually because of lack of effort. Most of my vanilla friends who’ve had failed marriages attribute it to this. My own failed marriage was definitely attributed to this.
One or both partners decide at some point that they’re not going to put in the effort to make the relationship the way it was in the beginning. That lack of effort can be not communicating, not caring about what your partner wants or needs, saying hurtful things and not sincerely apologizing. There’s a bunch of others too.
I want a relationship where when I start being too smart ass or I’m disrespectful, my Dom/Leader/Daddy, or whatever name tag he wants to put on, will “tug on the leash” so to say and remind me of how I should act. And it’s not just that I should act a certain way because he says so, but it’s that I should act a certain way because I respect and honor and value the gift he’s given me with his dominance.
It can’t be easy to be in charge of someone else’s life. It can’t be easy to make all those decisions, to know your submissive inside and out, to put her needs before yours. That is a huge responsibility on his part and an amazing gift to give a submissive. I want to earn that gift and do whatever it takes to always show him respect, that he is valued, that I would do anything to make him feel as good as he makes me feel, that our relationship is the most important thing in my life.
This is spot on. ☝️☝️ A vanilla relationship can drift into dysfunction and lack of focus. That cannot be ALLOWED TO HAPPEN in a D/s relationship, because to do so would bring the whole thing crashing down. There are many reasons for all those rules and protocols and tasks and checkins. This ☝️☝️ would be one of those reasons.
OPINION: FOREPLAY
It absolutely is NOT just the sexual activity the precedes intercourse. Seduction never ends. It isn’t something you only do before becoming intimate. Intimacy is all day. Foreplay is all day. It’s effort, words, the little things, subtleties, actions, willingness, and desire.
It’s letting them know that they’re on your mind. It’s doing things because you want to and not because you feel like you have to. It’s helping them see their beauty on the inside and out. It’s letting them know that they are yours and that you are theirs. It’s loving and caring for them. It’s teasing them. It’s showing them that they are the fuel that sets your very soul aflame.
Foreplay isn’t just touch. It’s not just rubbing the right spot or putting on an outfit. It’s growling terribly delicious things in their ear while you wrap your hands around their neck. It’s texting them. It’s calling them. It’s checking up on them. It’s asking if they need anything. It’s sharing responsibilities. It’s leaving little notes. It’s letting them feel your love and lust for them. It’s helping them realize how sexy, intelligent, creative, unique, and imperfectly perfect they are to you.
It’s being consistent and considerate. It’s enforcing rules and protocols. It’s passion. It’s follow through and being there. It’s not giving up and standing taller when things get tough. It’s making sure each other is doing their self-care. It’s making the time. It’s supporting each other. It’s friendship. It’s a union and partnership. It’s wanting each other. It’s lifting each other up. It’s listening to them. It’s guiding them. It’s helping them grow. It’s COMMUNICATION!
Foreplay is what you do all day long. It’s all of the things you do for one another. It’s your words and your actions. The seduction never ever ends. You continuously seduce each other physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and intellectually. So, go forth and remember: Foreplay all day.

Throwback Thursday; Spanking was big in the 40s which probably helps explain the high rate of births in the 50s. Many of us turned out to be the spank obsessed kids of the 60s. I spanked my first brat in 1968 when I was eleven. Many thanks to our forefathers.
This keyring was one of the first gifts I received from Him, a reminder that if needed He believes in providing motivation from behind.
“To love someone is to show to them their beauty, their worth and their importance.”
— Jean Vanier
It’s that feeling you get when your fingers intertwine with another’s. It’s the connection, the warmth that spreads throughout your being. It’s the subtle difference between being strong and being stronger together. It’s the intimacy of two souls joining and the intention to journey onward as one.
