Big dreams in a small town. Bacon eggs, hash-browns and coffee cooked, drunk and eaten for a one hour period.
On-going series of luminescient, inhabited cave-like spaces.
Taoyuan Taiwan, 2011.
Police Kitchen, Installation, Artcite group exhibition, Old Windsor Police Station, 2000
I moved the contents of my kitchen into an abandoned police station kitchen . I made and served drinks and chocolate chip cookies to visitors. An adjoining closet space held my collection of empty used paper coffee cups.
Many people really felt comfortable there and stayed to chat.

I come out in front of a theater audience in a 3.5m by 4m wall costume and sing a Frank Sinatra rendition of the Beatles "Yesterday". My sister (Sharon St.Pierre) accompanies me on piano. My mother and father in the audience fein horror and leave as the curtain opens.
It's been said that America has had a love affair with space. What kind of affair has this been? My 25th birthday on the 25th anniversary of the Apollo Moon landing . 24 hours spent within the Apollo Egress Trainer at the Detroit Science Center.
The Apollo Egress Trainer is an emergency escape training model designed in the aftermath of the Apollo 1 fire . Three astronauts died in pre-launch testing because they couldn't escape quickly enough from a fire within the capsule. The Egress Trainer in the Detroit Science Centre was flaked by information panels about the fire. The capsule acted as a memorial to those who sacrificed their lives.
Tossed away gaming consoles with mini buildings placed within. Tiger Head Mountain, Taiwan.2011.
A performance for the camera involving a series of one hour circular walks around various intersections. Careful adherence to the traffic lights is observed. A journal is kept and photos are taken is as documentation. This series happened in the winter and spring of 2011 in my hometown of St .Catharines, Ontario Canada. Living in my parents basement and looking for a job.
November 29th, King and Carlaisle Street. 1:50-2:50 pm,:
Saw a guy who works at the factory with me cross the street on his bike holding a coffee while riding no hands.
December 8th, Monday, Scott and Niagara Street, manual light system:
Saw the yellow VW drive by with the kid driving whom I had helped to get his car started by push starting it in the snow a few weeks back.
December 2nd , Tuesday, King and Academy Street, 1:00pm -2:00pm:
A low income , old man looking like he just woke up asks me where the hospital is . He was surprised how far away it was to walk."Is that the quickest way?" He asked. He gave a resigned "ok" . He then noticed I was coming around the intersection and stared at me for a moment. I felt like I was making the world just seem like a more confusing place to this guy.
November 30th , Sunday, Glendale and Pelham Road 3:55-4:55pm :
Standing for an hour at one corner with no pedestrians and no light change. Watched as a man and woman arrived across the street at their a fish and chip restaurant to open it. I think the man noticed me just standing there motionless at the corner. As they approached the door to their place. He then knocked at the door crouching slightly low with only his arm in front of the door while staying to the side like the way the police approach a suspicious house.
November 16th, 3:00-4:00 pm:
Went into a nearby donught shop after the walk .The waitress was curious about my camera. She was wearing a lit Santa hat, she was very thin and friendly. She said she was having a really strange day...that the customers were "edgy". She seemed to think it was great I was a photographer and then asked me what I was taking pictures of . I told her I was taking pictures of myself walking around intersections everyday. She gave a confused look , continued to politely get my coffee ready.
December 5th, Friday, Louth and MacTurnbull Avenue,10:35-11:35pm:
As I just stood here for an hour without moving, I began to notice the traffic lights projecting their colours across the tree branches.
November 24th, Tuesday, Queen and Church Street, 4:58-5:58:
Fell into the habit of just following others crossing the street and forgot I was doing the piece. I followed a guy who was crossing against the lights. A few steps into the street I realized what I was doing and stopped and went back to the curb to wait. The guy, once he got to the other side, looked quickly back with a blank expression.
December 7th, Sunday, King and Church Street. 12:30 -1:30
I wait for the walk signal along with a woman beside me. It's cold and the light takes time . There are no cars around and few people. The woman suddenly says to me. "Why are we waiting!?" Before I can answer she then says in a resigned tone..."I know , I know ...it's self discipline."
Finding a kindered spirit in the intensive farming of cabbage.
