So... I want to talk about Dark, and the genius behind him.
First thingâs first:
Dark is an asshole.
Heâs manipulative and dismissive. the moment you are of no use to him, he will not hesitate to abandon you. He is not the good guy⊠but heâs not 100% evil either.
Dark was âbornâ from love; the love of friends and family to try and protect one another (from how i see Damien and Celineâs offer in WKM) and they took advantage of someone who was in pain at that moment. They took someone elseâs anger and used it to benefit themselves, even if they wanted to find a way to get back at Asshole Mark.
We saw how they changed and evolved into the Dark we know today. All that hatered and anger morphed Dark into who we see⊠and DAMIEN showed us excatly why.
They just wanted to fix everything⊠but in doing so, they changed who they are. Celine went to rest, and Damien took control⊠but whatever he did to return to ârealityâ or whatever⊠it diid excatly what Celine said it would do; it changed him.
THIS:
This is not our Damien anymore⊠this isnât our Mayor.
This is the true begginings of Dark.
This is where the hate and anger took itâs first steps in the world with the sole promise of making sure Mark stayed dead⊠even if it wasnât their Mark.
And anyone who stood in Darkâs way?
Well⊠they had to be dealt with, didnât they?
Celine used us, the DA, because we were expendable, and iâm sure Dark sees others that way as well⊠all in the name of vengeance.
Mark wanted a villain⊠and he got one.
He got one whoâs willing to hunt him down time and time again.
He got one thatâs willing to lie and manipulate anyone thatâs standing between them and he does. not. care.
He got the villain willing to tear time and space apart.. the one who can defy the laws of reality if it means getting what he wants.
All he really wants is to make sure Mark goes down and stays down.
