The art of James Cameron, Cinémathèque Paris

Yesterday a dream came true and I went to Paris to see the art exhibition of James Cameron! It was amazing to see all these hand drawn concept arts and ideas he had put on paper throughout the years before avatar came to life and it once again made me realize just how much heart James puts into his works. There were also lots of interactive pieces and small snippets of the movie being projected on the walls and the characters voice lines and soundtracks could be heard -it was magical. 🥹

- before the AiB live action series on Netflix, there was actually an anime adaptation of it that was released in 2014

- sadly it only has 3 episodes

- in the first photo,,, the one on the left is Arisu (obviously), the shorty with the long hair is Chota (IK HE LOOKS SO DIF IN THE LIVE DGHJSAGF), the turnip head is Karube, and the woman with em is Shibuki

- yes, Shibuki and Chota did fuck

- the female with red hair (according to aib wiki she has red hair but idk it looks more like dark mulberry or smth) is Usagi

- and then there’s kenma Chishiya

- they were the only charas that got animated since it only has 3 eps
