Levi needs to be touching you

Most of the time, it's not even in a sexual way. More so in a you're still here, alive and with him sort of way. He's lost almost everyone important to him so he's afraid he's going to wake up one day and you'll be gone.

At first, he was hesitant to touch you because he knows you weren't big on it unless it was while the two of you were having sex. But one day, you noticed he was struggling with something and when you asked him what was wrong, he laid it all out for you.

"Sometimes, I worry if you're actually here with me or if I'm imagining it."

So that's when you told him if he ever starts to question it, to touch you no matter where the two of you are.

At the market while you're buying fresh produce and flowers, Levi's hand is on the small of your back.

On a walk in the late evening, letting the chilly air pull you closer to him so Levi could wrap his arm around you.

While the two of you are laying on the couch together, both of you reading your books, his legs are across your lap and your running your fingers up and down his ankle.

In the kitchen as you're making dinner, Levi is right there helping you, all the while his hand brushes across yours as he reaches over you to grab something.

During morning teatime when you're sitting on the outdoor chair swing, his head in your lap, as you run your fingers through his hair.

In bed, when both of you are asleep, he knows you don't like to be touched at all because you run warm while you sleep. So he gently brushes his feet against yours.

When he wakes up in the morning, the first thing he does is pull back the blankets you insist on sleeping underneath to make sure you're still there. He'll brush a finger over your cheek and feel the tightness around his heart lessen as your snoring fills the air.

Every time he feels your skin on his, your warmth filing him, Levi knows that you're there and nothing will ever change that.
