“I just don’t want to get her something practical.” He said it as she started to clear a path through the walking people, Nidhel close behind, “I get that she needs a new alchemy set, and I wouldn’t mind getting one for her as a gift, but at the same time…” He shrugged, pretty helpless at shopping for anyone, even Indes. He switched to Bosmeri, his face heating up from his blush, “I want to get her something that shows her how beautiful I think she is. You know? Something that makes her feel as pretty as I see her, but I don’t know how to do that without coming off as an ass.”
He looked around the marketplace, noticing a few jewelers, including an Argonian. Korgul’s eye narrowed as he looked a the stall, wanting to head there first for jewelry shopping. He trusted the lizard men when it came to working gold and precious stones, and fair prices when they knew what they were making or selling something for.
“If you don’t have an specific places you want to go, I think we should check out the Argonian over there. They’ve usually got good things when it comes to gold work.”
“Oh? Ooooh...”
Nidhel followed close behind, nearly having to jog in order to both keep up with his stride and dodge the rest of the crowd at times. But yes, that made a lot more sense now. Not just any gift. It was also, however, not making this any easier.
“Sure, let’s go see what they have. If we want to narrow down our search though...” She paused to think for a moment, lips pursing as she considered their options. “Trying to remember what I’ve seen her wear the most... Earrings are another thing she wears a lot of, but I don’t know how many of those are from you. I know she sometimes wears bracelets... rings... I know she likes the more unique things. Anklets, bands you wear on the upper arms, decorative belts... things like that. Any of those sound interesting?”
