Oho~ Welcome, everyone. Thank you all for celebrating my birthday today ♪
I didn't expect to have such a large audience tonight. I'm so honored that you're all here.
Our time might be limited for today, but rest assured, this Kōsei Hideki will make it worth your while. Let's all enjoy this celebration together~!
Q&A
This section is the Q&A. I'm curious what kind of questions you've sent me~ I'm very excited to see.
Let's see here… “Kōsei-kun, you mentioned in an interview once that you also like to read. Is there a book that you've found interesting?"
Hmm~ there was this book series about a group of owls who went on adventures together. It's far from realistic, but it was a very magical read.*
The next one is… “What's your favorite constellation?”
There's too many that I like… How am I supposed to choose~?
Hmm. I really like the Phoenix*. But Vulpecula* is an underrated one too.
…Ah. Haha. I guess, personally, it'd be Leo.* No, not Tsukinaga-kun, I already know what you're going to say. I mean the constellation Leo.
Guest Quest Time
Next up is the request session. Now, you might be wondering why there's a table here and some paper.
Heh. A little bird told me that a lot of you requested that I make my favorite origami figure.
Well, here goes~ An origami dog ♪ Very cute, isn't it? It took me a while to figure out the more complicated bits.
The next request is, let's see here… “Can you do an impression of someone?”
Oh? Leaving it up to me? Alright then~ But you have to guess which person I'm acting as too ♪
“Gyahahahaha~☆ Looks like Lady Luck is on my side again~!”
Did you guess who? Mhm~ It's Rinne-kun!
Surprise Time
Alright, and next up is… Why has the screen gone dark?
Oh! It's Karasu-kun and Sagiri-kun. He's a little too up close to the camera… There's Yoshihide and Rinne-kun too. And… Well, well. What a surprise. Hasumi-kun is there too~
Fufu. Such a rowdy group getting together to greet me a happy birthday! How unexpected~
Closing Speech
…Oh? Is the event already almost over? Ah… The time must've completely slipped my mind…I was having a lot of fun too…
But I do hope you all enjoyed this as much as I did. I'm very grateful that you've all come to celebrate my birthday with me.
Heh. I hope next year will be just as wonderful, if not even more ♪
It'll be a goodbye for now, everyone~
*The book series Kōsei is referring to is the Guardians of Ga'hoole by Kathryn Lasky. Kōsei reads all kinds of literature from different places.
*Phoenix is a minor constellation in the southern sky. There are three other bird constellations near it, Grus, Pavo and Tucana and they are known as the Southern Birds.
*Vulpecula is a constellation in the Northern Sky. Its name means "the little fox" in Latin.
*Leo is one of the Zodiac constellations and its period is between July 24 and August 22. This makes Kōsei a Leo. In astrology, Leos are described to be charismatic. They are confident, ambitious and enthusiastic when in pursuit of their goal.
Uuuuu.... Thank you very much, everynyan. To those who've been here since Day 1, to those who've recently joined the party. Thank you. I didn't know that this one would be able to reach the three digits... I was kinda convinced that I'd be staying in the 90s range, but I suppose I've been proven wrong.
I will continue to work hard. Thank you very much once again. 🙇
I don't know what to do to celebrate this milestone... (ᵕ˶๑﹏๑˶)

Riku Takamine / Sanbi Tomoe
Riku, fresh college graduate and so, so excited to take the board exams only to fail. Again. And again. And again. His constant failures in even reaching the passing score in the board exam had lead him to a moment in life where he just wasn't motivated for anything anymore. He just stopped caring, really. Riku thought of himself as a failure at that time, thinking how much time he's wasted studying for the board exams only to fail time and time again. His parents, Midori, his then girlfriend now wife, tried to reassure him though it didn't really do much. If he can't even pass that exam, then what even is he? Who even is he when his dream career keeps on slipping away from him?
Thankfully, Riku got his senses back and tried again. If his usually unmotivated, constantly complaining and responsibility shirking little brother can commit to being an idol (which Midori didn't even want in the first place!) and even be well known enough that Riku can see photos of Midori on billboards and magazines, then surely he can ace the board exams and become a lawyer.
And oh, he did. He finally did. If their mom shed a tear upon seeing his name on that list that passed the exams, imagine Riku's reaction. That was the second event in his life where he cried so much out of happiness—the first one was meeting and holding his baby brother for the first time all those years ago (the third would be his wife saying yes to his proposal and the fourth was getting married). Riku never told Midori how much he became a motivation and an inspiration for him. He'd probably think that Riku was being weird and make that grossed out face again.
That's fine. He can just make sure that Midori knows just how important he is to Riku. Hey, maybe he'll give Midori the honors of naming his daughter (probably, tentative). Riku hopes he'd have a daughter. Well, when he gets over his anxiety over having a child anyways. Riku is still stressing if he'd make a good father. The constant anxiousness is a Takamine thing it seems. (Hurry up, Riku-niisan, Mama wants grandbabies to dote on 😆)

Sanbi Tomoe, the first born of the well regarded and respected Tomoe family. Everyone in the business world knows him as someone who's poised, elegant and diligent—as compared to the second son Hiyori, the "troublemaker" of the Tomoes. Sanbi knows his little brother does what he does, to be known as the "frivolous son" of the Tomoe family to elevate Sanbi's own status in high society. Personally, it irks him. To him, Hiyori doesn't need to do that, but he supposed being known as the son who's too carefree allows Hiyori more freedom. Sanbi understands and doesn't bring it up to Hiyori. He knew how stifling high society can be and he knew Hiyori isn't someone who likes being restricted.
When they were children, before Sanbi was constantly whisked away for private tutoring or whatever, he would accompany Hiyori in the gardens of their home. Nagisa then became a playmate after he was temporarily put in their family's care. Sanbi, as busy as he is these days does try to call either Nagisa or Hiyori, just to see how they're doing. Hearing Hiyori talk about what he's been up to, even having little Bloody Mary on the call made his stressful days feel better. Sanbi also kept some of the rocks that Nagisa used to give him. He's glad that his little brothers are doing better than they were in the past (even if Nagisa was only with them temporarily, Sanbi knows how important he is to Hiyori and he'd grown protective over him as well).
Sanbi had also picked up on some of Hiyori's speech. He does find himself muttering, "Warui Hiyori" when things go south and then he feels nostalgic about it. He has a sense of humor about it though. ("It's not very 'Ii~ Hiyori~ now is it, Hiyori?")
Atsuko 🤝 Sanbi. Missing the days when it was simpler and wishing to go back to those times.
