i'm not going to delete this one because of that list and all of the asks that people sent. i think it should all be kept up. i'll still check in every now and then.
Digatisdi's remade - queerlinguist now. And he edited his giant flounce post, too. It's really funny to see how he doesn't claim any Native identity now.

Being tsalagi myself I could tell you all the stuff that sugarlesshoney was spouting off about our tribes was stuff I found in google search in 2 seconds. And since being called out on the faking thing, she stopped posting anything related to even being native. Anywho, I'm just here to say thanks for that and I love your blog. uwu ♥
RE: Petticoatruler. She initially told a few people she was a mixed Native and didn't know what tribe she was from (which in and of itself is suspicious - there's a difference between being native and having native ancestry and if you don't know your tribe then ???). Then she told other people she was 1/4, unenrolled, from a specific tribe who doesn't even use that terminology but failed to mention this to a member of that actual tribe when she talked with them that shew as supposedly from(cont)
their tribe. Additionally, she (like Digatisdi, dansphalluspalace/queernonywolf, and littleangrytiger/sugarlesshoney) treated this like it was some grudgematch from one individual when this list was the collective effort of about 22 different people piecing together the different bullshit they'd been fed or seen over the months/years from these people. Like it's not hard to see through the bullshit deflectionary tactics these liars trot out when their tall tales are under scrutiny.
Why can't I find any explanation/receipts of petticoatruler being a fraudulent native anywhere? There's no explanation on your list. There's no explanation in their tag. As far as I can see there's no explanation/receipts anywhere. Am I just looking in the wrong place?
she told two different people two different things about what tribe she was and lying about being a member of a tribe is fucked up because when you make that public, people view you as representative of that tribe. neither of the two people she talked to want their tumblr spread around or associated with this right now and i respect that (esp since people have been linking to that list and stuff) so i'm not mentioning their names. also, they never saved the messages, because they didn't know that she was lying at the time.

Good afternoon. I am Mavutaseuv, Indian Girl with a Different Face. I am known as Diane Millich, and I am a citizen of the Southern Ute Indian tribe located in Ignacio, Colorado. When I was 26 years old, I dated a non-Indian, a white man. After six months, we were married. My non-Indian husband moved into my house on the reservation. To my shock, just days after our marriage, he assaulted me. After a year of abuse and more than a hundred incidences of being slapped, kicked, punched, and living in horrific terror, I left for good. During that year of marriage, I called the police many times. I called our Southern Ute tribal police department, but the law prevented them from arresting and prosecuting my husband because he was non-Indian. The county sheriff could not help me because I am a Native woman and the beatings occurred on tribal reservation land. After one beating, my ex-husband called the tribal police and the sheriff’s department himself just to show me that no one could stop him. All the times that I called the police and nothing was done only made my ex-husband believe he was above the law and untouchable. My ex-husband told me, ‘You promised us until death do us part, so death it shall be.’ Finally he arrived at my office armed with a gun. I am alive today only because my coworker pushed me out of harm’s way and took the bullet in his shoulder. For this crime he was finally arrested. But because he had never been arrested for any of the abuse against me, he was treated as a first-time offender. The state prosecutor and him reached a plea agreement of ‘aggravated driving under revocation’. If the bill being signed today were law when I was married, it would have allowed my tribe to arrest and prosecute my abuser. When this bill is signed, The Violence Against Women Act will finally reach Native American women like me.
