โ โ a new, rhythmic commotion drummed through the five wards of agrabah, building excitement and interest in the already bustling streets. intrigued citizens from every corner of the kingdom meshed with the clamor and at the center, a band of musicians alongside two colorful caravans bumped side to side on the dirt paths concealing new characters inside. inflated mystery grew as the gathered assembly steered course towards the palace but as of late, ๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐ก ๐ฐ๐๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ-๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฌ๐ ๐ญ๐ฒ๐ฉ๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ, with jasmine and aladdinโs wedding preparations underway and buzz around the date rippling louder across the seven deserts; any and every sudden distraction could refashion a three month wait into a year-long delay, and jasmine knew that. but despite the stressful aspect, the princessโs curiosity piqued after glancing over her shoulder to find her soon-to-be-husband already made quick haste in reaching the balcony before beckoning for her. โ โ โ

โ โ well. she couldnโt ignore it any longer โ nothing could be completed now, not with the sudden flaw the weekโs itinerary so with few options, jas pushed herself up from the marble floor she laid parallel beside rajah and sashayed over to her fiancรฉ unenthused, a hand on her curved hip with her elevated opposite wrist further displaying her unenthusiasm. letโs see what this display was all about. both wagons soon came to a bumpy halt with music and jeering fading into near silence. from one side of the first, a curtained window drew open revealing a smallโฆ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐? curious. jasmine almost almost began to feel foolish for her initial disinterest โ this certainly was proving to be an interesting visit indeed. the โpuppetโ began an introduction that jas struggled to reference due to distance, but what she could discern was a beautiful romani woman, who looked about the same age as herself, emerging from the second parked caravan. she stepped out croisรฉ devant, a bangled ankle outstretching towards the crowd as her red, flowing dress flirted with her movements into a confident pose in which she froze. but before beguiling agrabahโs people with a seamless dance, her introduction concluded and their band cued the woman to break her pose and begin to dance. โ โ โ

โ โ jasmine was silenced through amazement, but reflecting her silence was poor, helpless aladdin. this man was so enamoured, so bewitched, his slacked jaw practically touched the balcony railing. a blazing fire could easily be stoked from the princessโs chest in the moment but, she reigned in her disappointment, pivoting back to her duty as princess in greeting the dancer and her ilk. โ โ โ

โ โ and with that and a sharp scoff to aladdin, she quickly headed out into the east wing to become one with the crowd outside, leaving him to his gawking. once she reached the gate however, the performance already wrapped with a round of roaring applause and the showering of gold coins eclipsed the sun as the sultan waddled over to the romani group happily. he excitedly extended a bumbling greeting before jasmine quietly approached his side and offered one personally. the disappointment in missing most of her presentation masked her awe, but she still wished to convey to the woman her admiration all the same. โ โ โ
