Hey, it’s been awhile longer than I’d said, hasn’t it? Ah, between the shows in Okinawa we just finished, the trip to England we’re taking even now, and then the two shows ahead in Saitama, I am completely feeling this rockstar life. Are you all taking good care of yourselves?

The English air is touched with strong currents of emotion. Anger, fear, regret, shame, hope, determination. And here among friends there is mostly the undercurrent of love. It’s a wonderful thing and I’m honored that we’re able to be here to share in this.

I’m really not as hard to find as some people seem to want you to think. But it is probably fair to say I work too much.

This weekend will be the last stops for this leg of LVL and it feels ... right to be doing so in Okinawa, a place that will always be close to my heart as a seed of my youth. So even if it’s a bit premature, I want to thank everyone who has been working so hard even up to now to make sure these shows happen. It’s been hard, I know. I’m the sort of person who insists on always pushing forward.

But then, you know, even when it’s hard, you grit your teeth and keep putting one foot in front of the other, walking, running, onward, forward. And then you look and there are those beside you, gritting their teeth, putting their feet one in front of the other, running right along with you, and the burden, the struggle feels less for being shared between you.

This is how I’ve felt for a long time now. So thank you, everyone, for running along with me. And thank you, Senpai, for saying those things, pushing even from ahead of me. Even when they were hard for me to hear, you knew what needed to be said and didn’t back down from saying it and I appreciate it deeply.
