Occupation/Status: A tactician with a unique ability that’s called upon in several countries to assist in their war effort
Speciality: War tactics;
Djinn: Eligos; 15th Djinn
Djinn Equip Details:
Future Vision: One of Eligos’ main powers and the ability that strikes so much fear into the hearts of anyone who opposes Ara. Ara is able to see things like the outcome of wars and how soldiers will meet one another in battle.
Lance: Eligos is depicted with a lance as a Great Duke of Hell that was evoked by King Solomon himself.
Brief Personality: Eligos’ appearance may come off alarming, having a big muscular build and a fierce expression on his face, but he’s actually just a big baby. He will cry over any little thing and doesn’t like to do much work. It was a bit hard for Ara to compete with the other king candidates in the dungeon because of the various tasks Eligos gave them in order for him to choose a king vessel. He made them clean up and sort his dungeon, feed and take care of his animals in said dungeon, and other chores he could most likely do himself. However, he did decide to take the one person who did not complain in the least - Ara. He wanted to find a king vessel that would be able to cope with their surroundings no matter how terrible and degrading the circumstance was. A person who could adapt to the situation and keep a clear head throughout the problem. Someone who could strategize and get the job done efficiently and quickly without questions. In reality, Ara didn’t really care - they did dirtier and more dangerous jobs in their past. So, it wasn’t really that big of a deal.
Likes: Fish, a strange obsession with miniature items, strawberries (technically any food but strawberries is at the top of their list), books, cluttered areas, sweets
Dislikes: large open spaces, spicy foods, insects, smelly anything, speaking to others constantly, loud places
Preferences: panromantic asexual
Personality: Like an assassin, Ara is a silent and calculating one - one who observes in the background looking for weaknesses. They refuse to speak unless spoken to. They feel like they will be disrespectful if they do so.
It also allows them to blend into the background and observe people’s mannerisms and habits. The teen is a very observant one. This is all due to their excellent eye sight. Ara can point out anything like a small tear in your shoes or a speck of dirt on your clothes. When pointing out flaws, they’re completely blunt about it. It’s not they don’t care about the other’s feelings, it’s just that he can’t comprehend their reactions and feelings. Ara doesn’t completely understand human emotions, so they imitate their small and not easily noticed gestures.
Ara is a very loyal and dedicated one. Once they set their eyes on something, they will not stop until that goal is reached. This includes things like relationships or items. Relationship-wise, Ara will never betray anyone they put their trust in - even though they betrayed them. This also is associated with that fact Ara never holds any grudges, even against their parents. They believe it’s childish and unnecessary to do so.
Background: A distant and silent figure, someone who always speaks in cryptic verses and twisted comments. Ara likes to keep their mouth shut due to rough upbringing. The firstborn child in the City of Ban always had the risk of being sacrificed to their twisted and sick unnamed god. The sacrifice had to be pure of spirit and be able to reason, thus Ara’s strict upbringing. They were taught to never speak unless spoken. If Ara spoke out of turn, physical abuse awaited them. They quickly grew accustomed to this lifestyle and taught themselves to never complain or want anything. They were selfless and devoted all their efforts to a single cause.
At the age of 12, the walls of Ban crumbled to the hands of the City of Arc - a neighboring city. They claimed that this land was given to them by a higher deity, and the destruction of Ban’s walls was proof of this. The people of Ban were obliterated by the flames the Arc people had created within the city. There were at least 5 survivors, Ara included. They were all in the house of a prostitute; Ara never got her name. They were spared by the Arcites.
Even though they offered Ara a home in Arc, Ara refused to. They were to build another branch of Arc on the ashes of Ban, and that’s why Ara objected to live in their new city. The child had abandoned their parents in the fire, knowing that their parents were no longer needed in their life.
Their abuse, lack of love, and twisted morals, now gone. Being in that new city will just remind them of all that.
Ara had a talent for observation and planning. They were always so organized and they knew what they were doing. On their way to the next city from Ban, a band of terrorists and thieves had kidnapped Ara and made them their slave. They kidnapped him because they needed more people to enter the 15th dungeon that had appeared in the world.
During these trials in the dungeon, Ara had always solved Eligos’ puzzles and requests without a single scratch. Eligos was one for games, especially ones that involved life threatening risks. All of the terrorists and thieves had already been killed except for two (who Ara didn’t even know the names of). When they reached the djinn, Eligos made them do things like clean up and sort his treasure. He was looking for someone who never complained during these chores. The king candidate who prevailed was none other than themselves, Ara.
Ever since that moment, Ara finally gained the self-confidence they had been looking for all their lives. From there, Ara had been challenged by other metal vessel users because of Ara’s fearsome strength and the rumor that they could see the future (which was true). Countries and cities always sought his guidance with political, finacial, and warfare situations.
Ara still is not affliated with the people they helped, and they wish for it to stay that way.
Silence hung heavy in the air between them, the boy’s slender
hands folded neatly in his lap, just the way Rurumu had taught
him. Moments passed, Ja’far’s irritation visibly growing.
{ ♛ } ❝ Cue the boy’s long and exaggerated whine. He did this mostly to annoy the other. Arms wrapped around Ja’far and a head on the trader’s shoulder followed.
‘Ja’faaaaaar...’ he groaned, ‘Why won’t you let me drink toniiiight..?’ ❞
