Hello all.

I have been MIA on this app for quite some time.

Unfortunately, I wish it was for good reason.

Recently, my uncle got diagnosed with early stages of dementia while already being on dialysis for the better part of 3.5 years. I live in Florida while he is in New York.

My uncle was like a father to me growing up (as my father was absent) and to hear this shattered me completely.

And then...

I lost my job in October 4th and am still out of work as of today (November 5th; with no calls for interviews in sight).

With that being said, my plan to drive to NY for Thanksgiving is not looking likely at this point which means I could be missing out on one last holiday with my uncle.

I hate being a “charity case”, or a beggar, I’m just asking if a dollar can be spared.

The bills don’t stop and my savings is almost drained. I have about one bill left.

I’m seconds away from quite literally losing my mind.

I have posted my cashapp below, if you all feel so inclined.
