he was told as a closeted gay boy who didn't even undestand himself yet and was immensely struggling to cope, by the VERY BOY HE LIKED "did you REALLY think we would just sit in my basement all day and play games for the rest of our lives???" and despite the fucking HURT and DEVASTATION he felt, WILL BYERS still immediately whipped out "YEAH. I GUESS I DID."
AND THEN when that same friend basically ghosted him for a year and refused to hug him and had been ignoring him all day, and literally STARTED an argument with HIM, AND proceeded to guilt trip him into thinking it was HIS FAULT because "she's my girlfriend will!!", WILL BYERS WHIPPED OUT "AND WHAT ABOUT US??"
and then when that friend shouted "WE'RE FRIENDS! WE'RE FRIENDS." right back in his face, even given EVERYTHING he was struggling with, WILL BYERS DID NOT STUTTER "WELL WE USED TO BE BEST FRIENDS."
I just love drawing them fawning all over each other haha that's this whole Au I'll be honest. And god I love drawing Eleven in cute outfits!! I'm so excited to draw more of her eventually :)

ik the meaning of this song is completely different but when i heard these lyrics it activated a crazy neuron in my brain . IT HAD TO BE MADE !! there were a lot of other lines but i needed a smaller scope or i would die..
some notable lines and my interpretation of them in case you were curious:
"Fable and truth"
- smth about blackwall's double identity or lavellan's rise to inquisitor as the herald of andraste.. what is fable? what is truth? two people living lives that feel simultaneously right but also wrong..

- herald of andraste being revered/lavellan being a normal person... not a holy being like the world assumes, and longing for the life before it all changed

- blackwall seeing them as a person... not on a pedestal

i've literally never made an amv before but here we are . it only took me an insane amount of time and crazy blorbo-fueled passion.. i respect amv makers so bad. this was rly hard esp bc i was using procreate dreams 💔
This is actually such a crucial part of healing from neglect and abuse and I have to add to this.
Because indeed, people who like you will not roll their eyes and sigh at the idea of accommodating your needs, they will value your voice and be upset with you about injustice done to you, not at you for "being difficult". They will be happy when you find a way to live a better life, and help you to get there. If you are struggling, someone who loves you wants to see you smile, not tell you to smile because "you have it so good".
the good place has crossed my dash and I just thought of a really funny au of conformitygate where Mike keeps on figuring out something is wrong and Vecna just keeps crashing out and resetting the timeline.
the thing is bravebyers would make hawkins mike jealous but wheelerwise would be completely devastating for hawkins will. just imagine how he would feel watching the boy he's loved for years not reciprocate his feelings but then become infatuated with a cooler, more confident version of will.
