The words echo in both the matrix chamber, and in Sorayne's immediate vicinity. Blue energy envelops Uurenasha, and within seconds erupts from the ground near Sorayne.

Once the energy dissipates, Uurenasha is revealed once more.

"What brings one to this crematorium of a province, I will never understand." She says rather casually for someone who's just teleported from one end of Tamriel to the other.

Before Sorayne stood a tall elf, eyes piercing blue and hair a deep and vibrant red. Some of it appeared to be braided into a lattice, acting as a shawl decorating her shoulders. Her skin was strangely bronzed for an Altmer...

... Unless, that wasn't what she was.

Sorayne seemed rather annoyed and uninterested. She looked Uurenasha up and down with a quirked eyebrow.

"Ayleid?" She hummed.

The Senche next to her growled lowly and stood guard at Sorayne's side. A horned cat rested on the Redguard's shoulders.

"So my suspicions were correct." A smile ran across Uurenasha's lips.

"Most people - especially humans - don't even know what we used to look like. But you... you've seen us before; I can tell by that look in your eye." She managed a chuckle, though it seemed like she hadn't laughed in ages by how forced it sounded. "How delicious! I simply must know more, but that can wait."

She dusted off some ash before meeting the gaze of Sorayne's Senche companion. "Oh don't give me that look. I know I'm dangerous and powerful, but I put on one of my best gowns for this. Surely that would indicate I'm not here to do anything untoward; combat isn't fashionable."

Uurenasha cleared her throat. "It has come to my attention that you don't like being spied on, given the efforts you apparently put in to sever my letter's magic. You are an important guest, perhaps the most interesting I've been able to invite in a few centuries; I can't risk you not actually coming, so I've come to offer my own personal assurances."

Uurenasha fished an exquisite pouch from the bodice of her gown; the leather was meticulously polished, and the drawstrings appeared to have delicate silver threading woven in. As she held her hand out to Sorayne, one could hear the jingle of gold and other precious things.

"These septims are pretty ancient, given the change of currency over in the Dominion after... all that. If you mention that to the right merchant, they might even go for triple their worth as mere currency." Her eyes narrowed in what one could interpret as kindness, but once again it appears she hasn't made such an expression in a while. "These are yours, whether you choose to come or not. I'd like to believe they'll serve as incentive, though."

"Can you name me a single person who does enjoy being spied on?" She deadpanned, placing a hand on the Senche, silencing its growls.

"Is us standing in the outskirts of Necrom not hint enough I am going?" She took the coins and stored them. She didn't need the money but she knew someone who did: Mr. Two-Septim Emperor.

"Elyna of Sunhold, Vaarie of Lillandril..." She could probably name most of the nobility in Summerset if she tried.

"The point is, this is how my business model usually operates. My regulars like that I'm invested in their attendance, so I'm used to this being less of an... inconvenience." Uurenasha took in a shallow breath, ever anxious about inhaling ash.

"By Auri-El, I haven't done one of these in centuries... Allow me to extend my deepest apologies for not factoring that in sooner."

"If you'd rather not have the company on the journey to Alinor, well... let's be honest, teleportation is a party trick to someone as old as myself. However if you're open to it, I haven't had to take a boat since the First Era. It'd give me a good break before I have to set the standard for Altmeri fashion again."

"Besides, I'd like to pick your brain about Redguard fashion and textiles. It's been too long since I've had a chance to incorporate international influences, and I think Hammerfell might have some excellent inspiration for a summer collection."
