so I'm going to buy shoes on the Nike website and I'm on the little kids section bc I only have small feet so woooo cheaper prices but anyway that's not my point.

so the black/blue/green/red shoes are all labeled as 'boys' shoes. you wanna know the option us girls have? pink. or maybe purple at a push. but oh no, you can't buy the black, because they're made for boys.

now on the adult section the colours are more mixed, so it's only okay to separate the genders when they're young, aka reinforcing from a young age that girls have to wear pink and they can't wear black and boys have to like 'manly' colours like black and red!! 

great, good work Nike. 

oh, and by the way, I just bought a pair of Nike's 'boys' black trainers, because I don't wanna be told what colours I should wear based on my gender.
