it was eaten from the core and out to the skin, and that’s why you’ll never find the worm in it.

and it’s creeping its way through my windows, and it’s slithering under my door. and it’s in my peripheral vision, and it’s boring up under my floor.

it’s whispering into my eardrums and it’s telling me that i want more, more.

revamped my mc for touchstarved. he’s gone through four different designs by now but this one is sticking to me unlike the three earlier designs :) i bet you would never guess who he likes.

new oc! fucked up unicorn. his name is gwen and he committed various crimes against a kingdom. he’s either a full on very intelligent unicorn or a man who was sealed away in the shape of a unicorn, his power bound by the crown on his neck.

here’s some fast lore on him: born seung myung, son of a single father who was a renowned scientist, he was a sheltered kid who grew up isolated from the world, resenting his father until at the age of 19, he killed his own father, set his father’s house ablaze, and faked his own death ( even tho he was not known to the public at all ) and fled south korea with his father’s money— an easier task made possible by his father’s old school ways of keeping all his money in a safe.

anyway, yume fled to china, where he changed his name and met who would become his lab partner ( this is dionysus, my bf’s oc! ) who had a crush on him. yume, knowing this, used dionysus’ romantic feelings toward him to lead them on for his own gains. they graduate together and work together, with yume doing under the table unethical experiments which dionysus finds out, tries to out him, and yume responds with attempted murder that leaves dionysus hospitalized ( dionysus does die but they get reborn as the demon of wrath ).

yume flees again, and ends up in the united states this time where he continues doing unethical experiments while working as a doctor. he gets in his head that he can make a god, and not just believe in a god he has never seen and starts going off a little off the deep end.

dionysus comes back into play years later, and this time they succeed in outing yume for his experiments both when he lived in china and where he currently lives: which includes a lot of dead people and one lobotomized proxy. anyway, yume is cornered in the hospital he works in and, refusing to give in, jumps out the window and dies.

eventually yume wakes up in the morgue after some weird, existential dream and now he’s the new demon of pride. :) handpicked by the original lord of pride himself; which a risk in of itself given yume’s track record as a human and Hell isn’t just unfiltered chaos, so there is rules he must follow. all in all, he was chosen for his perfectionism. he is the example of pride, putting his satisfaction above all else.

and it takes him some time to adjust to this new lifestyle, being mostly filled with rage.

also a very important detail i couldn’t fit in: yume’s half burned side of his face isn’t bc of his death, but rather when he was still living in china, he had a chemical related accident that exploded on him hence the burn scar.
