Even if you're Asian, if you're not also Japanese, I don't see why you would coin a term exclusive to JP people regardless of whether or not you're also Asian. Asian is a very broad race that refers to a lot of different ethnicities. It also doesn't take long to use Google or find resources (like Jisho.org) to find JP words to use for a JP term, because "Japatranse" is scarily close to having a slur in it.

Thank you for the clarification, anon. Mod First Grain is currently considering recoin it with a better name. And I'm sorry for my mistake, I'll be more mindful next time.

Hello! I'm so happy to see a blog specifically for (BI)POC terms, especially one that's Cookie Run themed! I saw your Metis term & it made me super happy since I'm part Metis. I was wondering if I could please request a gender related to the experience of being transgender and Japanese? Thank you in advance if you take this request! Just a quick question to double check: are you only doing terms from cultures you're from or are people allowed to ask for other culture related identities (eg like. hispanic identities)

I would just like to point out that your pinned is formatted so similarly to boundvows that two to three people have already said it looks like a direct copy… what you two are doing is very cool, but the similarities are jarring and I think going a unique route would benefit you in the long run!
