"Excuse me!" Her manners weren't polished, and her voice was still a little abrasive as she moved past the crowd of fans that weren't harmed, and simply needed to evacuate as soon as possible. "You guys should head out, we don't want anyone else gettin' hurt, okay?"
When she managed to make it to a paramedic, she huffed slightly and tapped his shoulder.
"Hey, what's going on? Is there anything I can do to help you all? We all want to do whatever we can." Mira had been ready to take her leave with her fellow band mates, when they all took notice of the flashing lights and sirens that were fast approaching the stadium. As much as it was mostly the fault of the SAJA-JERKS that people had likely been hurt, that didn't mean that the girls felt like they had no responsibility to their fans. The fans were EVERYTHING.
Mira wasn't sure what the paramedic said in return though, as her eyes had drifted down to the PATIENT that they were standing over.
Her blade had NEVER failed when she hit her mark. Wounding a demon with it wasn't something that happened, as the weapon itself was made for the purpose of purification and the banishment of evil.
So why the HELL was that demon still there? Why was he ALIVE? Moreover...why and how was he BLEEDING when he should have just vanished?"
A few moments after being addressed, Mira processed just what had been being said to her, registering especially the words 'GIRLFRIEND' and 'RIDE WITH IN THE AMBULANCE'.
Snapping back to her reality that she desperately wanted to escape in that moment, she looked between the paramedic and the demon on the ground. For reasons that she refused to examine in that moment, she felt a REAL PANG in her chest when she saw the pain evident through his entire being. If nothing else, it made it easier for her to put on the face of a GIRLDFRIEND WORRIED SICK.
"Oh-...oh, can I? I'd be so grateful, I don't want to leave his side for a second longer than I have to." Her eyes were a bit watery...because she was a great actress, obviously. And no other reason.
"Abby? Sweetie?" That did require a bit of force for her to say. "It's gonna be okay, just hold on! I need you to hold on, please!" That wasn't a lie, technically. Mira didn't particularly want to have to try to beat a MURDER CHARGE. No, she needed him to live, and she needed to get him alone so that she could coach him on what to say if he didn't want to end up in WORSE SHAPE.
This wasn't just about him being a demon. Not anymore, anyway. Since learning Rumi's secret, this had become about the fact that these demons in particular had all been STEALING SOULS.
