Hello tumblr. I’m reviving my old blog from the dead with some of my PHM fanarts.

This movie/book has gripped my soul a little too hard 😭

And after a while you just stop. You stop watering your plants. You stop watching netflix. You stop reading. You stop replying to your friends as fast as you used to. You stop buying yourself nice things. You stop putting an effort into how you look. You stop taking care of yourself like you used to. You stop sleeping. You stop eating healthy foods. You stop petting your dog. You stop socializing.

You stop with everything. You find yourself sitting in your room for hours on end, without doing a single thing. Days feel like years. And you think you can’t do it for much longer.

My therapist told me that you don’t only spiral down. You can spiral up again. So maybe one day

You water your plants for the first time in a while. Surprisingly they’re not dead yet. You remember a movie that you really enjoy and you find the energy to watch it. You feel better afterwards. Maybe you still can’t find the motivation to reply to your friends but you buy yourself a nice scented candle and read your book. You take a nice long shower and you feel refreshed, so you put on an outfit you find cool. Then after what seems like forever, you get a good night of sleep. You wake up with more energy than usual so you play with your dog. Then you cook that healthy meal you really enjoy. You reach out to a friend.

You start remembering what brought you joy. You start again with the little things. You look back on the days that have passed and feel relieved they’re over.

Remember, you don’t just spiral down. You spiral up as well, even if it takes more effort to get started.

Watching the streams for Gamers Outreach really cemented why I love the Hermits and their community.

I especially loved how much they made sure Scar was included, like being his arms so he could use a nerf gun, and other things like that. As someone with chronic health issues, it means the world to see that it is possible to be included even if someone can’t be there in person. It was such simple gestures but I cried happy tears while watching.

I doubt any of the hermits will see this, but congrats on the success of the charity streams, I just know this is going to help so many people.

I love this community.

I have reached a point where words cann't describe my love for Hermitcraft and the community anymore, at least not in an adequate way.

I have watched most of the streams of the charity event and now have been looking through the posts here and I cann't help but tear up, have the biggest smile possible on my face and feel like my heart is just about to jump out of my chest because it's just so full of love and pride for the hermits and the community.

It is insane what was accomplished with the Gamers Outreach event.

(And on a side note: Seeing the Hermits all being together in person and how they interact with each other was just such a beautiful sight. I already love it when they interact on stream or in their videos, but this? I fear another point where words fail me...)

i think it goes without saying (though im gonna say it anyways) that the hermitcraft community is a beacon of starlight in a sea of darkness. they continuously provide hope and happiness for millions of people across the globe- and personally they inspire me to keep trying my best every day. i think it’s no exaggeration to say that so many people, myself included, wouldn’t be here today without the light and love they bring to the world.

congratulations to the hermits and gamers outreach for raising over $800k during the charity stream weekend! we love you <3

as of the end of joe's stream (which appears to be the last stream live from the gamer's outreach event), it seems we've raised $808,192.83 for gamer's outreach. that is INSANE. i know i keep quoting numbers and saying that's insane but THAT'S NEARLY DOUBLE WHAT WE DID LAST YEAR. THAT'S INSANE. this community is wildly generous and i appreciate it so much. and that was such a fun event, thank you to the hermits for throwing it!
