Kino no Tabi

Synopsis

Destination is a state of mind. A tale of one girl and her bike and the road ahead. Kino wanders around the world on the back of Hermes, her unusual, anthropomorphic motorcycle, only staying in each country for three days. During their adventures, they find happiness, sadness, pain, decadence, violence, beauty, and wisdom. But through it all, they never lose their sense of freedom. They discover that because of the world's imperfections, it is actually a thing of beauty.

My Impressions

OMG I waited for this one and now that it's completed I can finally say: ITS WORTH WATCHING! 

Let's begin with that beautiful animation: there are tons of breathtaking scenarios and as Kino travels from one country to another we can have many different views. Each country is very unique, with your own culture and people. It's fascinating! The country, as well as its people, has flaws and virtues. 

The OST (original soundtrack) is really amazing!!! So well done ♡ It's overall a chill anime but but but it has action scenes here and there and its very mysterious. 

Who is the protagonist? Where is she from?  How can a bike talk? Why is she always traveling? Who is her teacher? How they met? Why she never stops in one country? How is the next country? 

I could go on and on questioning about things in this anime and I'm glad to say that most of them were answered!!! Not right in the beginning but they were answered. Of course not all of them. I can hope for a second season now!!! XD

It's totally worth watching this one! I hope you guys like it as much as I do. See ya~ :3

HYOUKA

Synopsis

Energy-conservative high school student Houtarou Oreki ends up with more than he bargained for when he signs up for the Classics Club at his sister's behest—especially when he realizes how deep-rooted the club's history really is. Begrudgingly, Oreki is dragged into an investigation concerning the 45-year-old mystery that surrounds the club room.

Accompanied by his fellow club members, the knowledgeable Satoshi Fukube, the stern but benign Mayaka Ibara, and the ever-curious Eru Chitanda, Oreki must combat deadlines and lack of information with resourcefulness and hidden talent, in order to not only find the truth buried beneath the dust of works created years before them, but of other small side cases as well.

Based on the award-winning Koten-bu light novel series, and directed by Yasuhiro Takemoto of Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu, Hyouka shows that normal life can be full of small mysteries, be it family history, a student film, or even the withered flowers that make up a ghost story.

My impressions

This is a very cute anime that you could watch & just chill. It's fun and kinda interesting how Houtarou always give up to Chitanda's curiosity! Thank god this one doesn't have that cliche love triangle. Everyone knows pretty well who they like and we don't have those jealous fight for the girl or the boy. We do have a discussion about envying someone's talent which is very interesting in my point of view. But it could have been more explored. 

Overall I really enjoyed this one! Houtarou is a cutie ♡

This sunshine softball is Kim Jonghyun. Born in 1990.04.08 and member of korean boygroup SHINee.

I knew kpop through SHINee and loved them all. They were my favorite group for years. And I still watched things about them here and there, always. I always have this special place for SHINee and its members in my heart. I heard their solo albums and wished them to succeed. 

But things don't always go the way we want, right? When I woke up on 2017.12.18, I received the news that Jonghyun had passed away. 27 years. Dead by suicide. I couldn't believe that. I didn't want to. This person with the brighest smile? The most warm personality? Loved by family, friends and fans all over the world? No way. That can't be happening. I repeated that to myself over and over all day long. 

The confirmation came from SM Entertainment, their company. My heart was broken into millions of pieces. Tears are still flowing. Jonghyun my sweet. I'm sorry. I'm so so so sorry. 

They didn't help you nor the help wasn't enough. I wished you've stayed a little longer. I wished someone or something could have helped you. I'm so sorry. I'll miss you.

I'm also thankful. Very very very thankful. I know everyone who knew you are thankful too. You did an awesome job. Your passion for music will be remembered. You always helped others. You will always be remembered dearly. Again, I wished you've stayed a little longer.

Youjo Senki

Synopsis:

Hellbent on defiance, Tanya resolves to ascend the ranks of her country's military as it slowly plunges into world war, with only Being X proving to be the strongest obstacle in recreating the peaceful life she once knew. But her perceptive actions and combat initiative have an unintended side effect: propelling the mighty Empire into becoming one of the most powerful nations in mankind's history."

The animation in this one is awesome. Tanya may look very cute sometimes but then turns into a demon in 1 second. The battle scenes are very intense and the history covers the 1 world war. Tanya is reborn in some country that looks like Germany and its very interesting to see the all the battle strategy behind a war. 

The OST is very well done too and boost the performance of an action scene. I can't wait for 2nd season!! 

Ps.: The first season has 12 episodes.

I’ve always loved this song since the first time I heard. Chanyeol has a soft and gentle voice that warms me up and Punch has a strong and emotional voice that make me have multiples sensations.

This combo couldn’t have made me happier. Chanyeol is my ultimate bias (favorite idol among all, the number 1). I love his voice, personality, charisma, smile, everything. And Punch is my favorite OST singer. Every song she signs is amazing and I always become speechless.

I hope to hear more of these two in the near future because they slayed it. They truly did a masterpiece here.

This song was played in Korean drama named Guardian: The Lonely and Great God or for short just Goblin. This is the synopsis:

“Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) is a goblin and protector of souls. He is the landlord of the grim reaper (Lee Dong-wook) who is in charge of taking deceased souls. Shin doesn’t want immortality anymore but needs a human goblin’s bride in order to end his long life. Meanwhile, Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun) is a high school student who despite her painful reality, remains optimistic. She summons the goblin by chance and through various encounters, ends up falling in love with him. Sunny (Yoo In-na) is an owner of a chicken wing shop, a woman who is loved by all men. These four people’s lives change when they encounter and their lives become entangled.”

Although I haven’t seen this yet I plan to do so very soon!!

This quote is from anime Haikyuu and when I first listened to it something clicked inside me. I'm a person who dreams a lot, I have many goals in life, but at the same time I'm very realistic. I wish to be free, to be able to do everything I wanted to. Thats why I think I'm always searching for new ways to fly. Not any way but the right ones, the best choice among all the possibilities. That's difficult but I think it will be worth it. 

This anime is my favorite, my number 1. It inspires me so much and I have tears every time I rewatch it. I will talk more about it later. For now I hope this little post will inspire you to chase your dreams too.
