Child: Mommy did you know that girls are pretty and boys are handsome? Me: I sure did. So what does that make me? Child: Beautiful.

So the child asked me the other day if I could teach him how to "wait". Are you kidding me?? This momma has zero patience, but he doesn't have to know that, right?!

Animals in my house

I have both a cat and a dog who are quite intelligent and spry. The cat can jump like nobody's business and has brought many a dead critter to our door while wearing a bell around her neck. Additionally, the dog is equally as smart. He managed to escape from 3 crates, can open up doors, and even eats furniture. So, why can't either one of these critters catch a dern mouse in my dining room?

Not the best day and of course the weather only makes it worse. The rain matches my tears. Ever find that paused moment of life and you're so confused as to rewind or fast forward? Guess its all part of the live and learn process.

You know the one. Doesn't matter where you are or what you are doing. It comes on and your heart stops for a few seconds. You try to forget but all you can do is remember. You try to breath but tears come and so do the memories. What is it about music?
