If you want the answer, it's in the journal 3 which is in physical form. In one part, it says that Ford, trying to investigate the history of the town, found a box that had the word <PINES> in one part.

When he opened the box he found a letter that was in Vigenere code. When he encrypted it, you can see that it's a letter addressed to the Pines twins. In one part of the letter it says:

-"After the globar I had been receiving a lot of ridicule for losing a gladiator fight against two kids. Even though I got my job back (Thanks for that, by the way) my fellow officers kept calling me names and baby time himself called me "no miosin blandín," you know what it's like to live with that. Just when I was thinking about giving anything for baby time's respect, this weird triangle guy showed up in my dreams and said he would make sure baby time would never bother me again. All I had to do was shake his hand. I've never been good at making decisions under pressure. And well, you know the rest."
