Trained since childhood in ballet, jazz, hip hop, samba, Afro-Cuban & mambo On 2, she has lived, instructed & performed in Israel, Spain, Italy & New York. Locally, she has performed with the Caribbean Soul Dance Company, Eddie Torres, Sekou McMiller & others. She is also the choreographer & director of the mambo team Shani's Girls. She currently teaches classes in all levels in midtown Manhattan, including a special 8 week salsa bootcamp for beginners.

It’s hard, though. If you do a full salsa session for an hour, you’ve got to lose an inch. You’re pouring sweat. Salsa is really fun.”
