“Yeah, I try to cover that horrible time period with a sheet,” he snorted, kissing her forehead again. At her mentioning death again, his smile slightly faded and he looked down, knowing that he was being slightly sensitive to the whole situation. “You can say you wanted to turn but I’m not forgiving myself, Grace. I can’t…”
“hey..” she said softly when she noticed his smile fade, fingers traced along the edges of his lips and she slowly shook her head. “there is nothing to forgive, gabriel. you were trying to heal me and my body had other plans, and thats.. thats alright. it may have been sooner than i was expecting it to happen but i prefer this undead life to actually being dead.” her eyes drop from his face, looking aside. “being actually dead? like gone, gone.. i was alone for the first century until my fathers mother came along and apparently she’s a conniving bitch, as per my fathers journals and my mother was scared that lily had gotten into my head, too. i would chose this life as a heretic with you and getting to know my family every. single. time. you might not see it this way but you gave me a gift –– i just, i need to learn to control it and make sure i don’t get out of hand.”
geminioutcast:
“I’ll let it go this time but I can’t promise it would happen the next time,” he hummed, holding her closer to him and sighing. He had come into this city - bitching about possibly losing his job to having the girl of his dreams, his sister back, and friends he’d never thought he’d make. “Don’t remind me, full of damn prudes,” he scoffed, “I’m glad we got a second chance, Grace”
“yeah, yeah yeah.” she teased lightly, she welcomed the closeness because being in gabes arms was the one thing that seemed to be holding that grounded feeling within her since she had been turned, even before but now especially. “sexist and oppressive pieces of shit too, much better to be a woman in this time.” her fingers began to gently crawl up and down his chest, looking into his eyes and a smile pulled upon her lips. “me too. i knew i couldn’t let it pass when i came back and saw you.. now i don’t see death separating us anytime soon, plus side to that.” grace winked.

she brought grace some clothing, watching her for a moment, listening to where she’d dropped the body, “i’ll be right back.” she didn’t want to leave grace alone any longer than she had to, so she quickly made her way to the park, taking care of the body, and getting back home. she needed to make sure that her daughter was okay, and already she felt like she’d left her alone too long at a crucial point in her development as a vampire. “everything is taken care of, grace. no one will find the body, and even if they do, they won’t be able to tie it to you.” she told her daughter, settling on the couch near her. “i know you didn’t mean for this to happen, but i’m glad you came to me. i’m always here for you.”
right now she was letting it sink in, she didn’t say much when valerie promised to be back. she took a deep breath and finished cleaning the blood from her skin and she changed into the outfit that valerie also brought out. small things to keep her mind busy while she was alone, but it didn’t help her mind was still racing, she watched as the soapy blood infused water was now pouring down the drain of the tub and she felt like a trance. maybe the new emotions were clouding her, but it was still a lot. she sat on the couch again just a few moments before valerie walked back in and she lifted her eyes to meet her mothers face. “i dont want it to come back to you either though, you and stefan.. you just came into my life. i dont want to lose you over my own mistakes.” she said quietly, swallowing a little to keep herself as close to calm as possible. “you’re the one person i know that would know exactly what i’m going through.” well, gabe would too but he had already seen enough of her roller coaster of emotions. “does it get easier?”
CLOSED.
geminislegacy:
a pause. and a turn. and a lift of her brow. the details are way too specific to talk about a coincidence. “ gabe? my ten times great-uncle? ” she lets that information sink for a bit. well, at least she knows he’s a good cut. but there’s another detail here. and it amuses her greatly. “ huh. ” a piece of beef jerky goes between her teeth. “ i guess my step-sister is dating my uncle now. ” there’s a small grin because, truly, she’s happy for the girl. and, most importantly, she’s happy she can have this. not just someone outside of josie to share these moments with, but someone she can call family while at it too. “ ooh-la-la, ” she muses, a faint wink as she sinks into the couch, remote in hand. “ a special first time, you say? that’s grossly endearing. i’m here for it. not for nothing, but this is still a project in the works for my boyfriend and i too. ”
“that would be the one, yep. i’ve known him since before i died.. he actually tried to help me find stefan and valerie way back then.” she admits, the fact that their family was like a bad comedy movie about hicks and keeping it all in the family. lizzies smile of reassurance gave her an ease she wasn’t expecting, a smile mirrored the older siphon’s lips and she folded her arms around her legs as she was curled on the couch. “is it unrealisitc? the whole special aspect of it all?” she asked curiously, still unsure of how some things worked in this day and age. “really? you too? maybe we just take it into our own hands and be seductive like the girl in cruel intentions.”
hcnrikmikaelscn:
“Oh, that is never a good thing,” he muttered, running a hand through his hair as he tried to think back to what could have happened to the girl. “As long as you don’t try anything stupid you can come in,” he said, moving out of the way so she could come in. “Why exactly were you using a spell to find someone? And how did it get to me?”
“i’ve been accused of plenty of things, but stupidity has never been one of them. trust me if i was here for reasons that were less than honorable, i wouldn’t be using the front door. i have no issues with you i actually need your help.” she admits and steps foot inside of his home, she turned to face him. “I was recently turned into a heretic and when i was, as you know compulsion wares off, and when i did i was shown the face of the vampire who killed me back in 1888 and when i tried to find them with a spell? it lead me to you through a flash of memory, showing me you turning them. i was hoping you could give me a name.. something.” so she could summon them to her and make them sorry. “i need to confront them, ask them why they did what they did.”
geminioutcast:
“I meant being a newborn, but I guess that answers another question I didn’t know I had,” he laughed, running a hand through her hair and looking her over. He loved her - every inch of her he loved and he didn’t want anything to happen to her but he knew that there was one thing he wished he could have prevented. He should have tried harder to keep her human. He couldn’t help but chuckle at her sentiment, “I’m your first? Consider me honored”
“count on me to bring forth questions that weren’t even there.” she said, a teasing smirk was settled on her lips. but she was still wrapped in the bliss of him and everything that happened in the last few hours between them, well always, but now especially. “well, yeah.. back in the 1800s if i had slept with someone i wasn’t married to we both know what would have been said and thought of me and plus i was slightly fond of you.” she hummed, winking before her eyes closed when he ran a hand through her hair.

He had been having a very mundane life in San Francisco, and a part of him didn’t like it. He missed the adventure, even if it ended up with him possibly being put in danger. But, tonight he was just relaxing with a bottle of whiskey and enjoying some classic movies. Then, he heard a knock. Was someone at his home at 8 pm? Scratching the back of his neck, he got up with a groan and walked up to the door. “This better be important,” he warned before opening the door to see a random blonde girl he had seen possibly 2 months ago and then never again after that. “Can I help you?”
after turning, one of the good things grace realized was that she herself was an untapped source of magic and one thing had been plaguing her. if she hadn’t died? she could have found her parents back in the 1800s and never have left gabe. but when channeling to find the vampire who killed her, the spell worked differently than imagined and she saw the vampires sire –– henrik mikaelson. she needed to talk to him, to find out who the sire was and how she was going to take care of them, but she would leave that part to herself. the blonde knocked at the door and waited, offering a kind smile when he answered the door. “hi um.. im sorry for bothering you, it’s just.. i did a spell and it lead me to you.”
CLOSED.
valerictullc:
“no, don’t apologize.” she said quietly. “it’s completely okay. i understand, grace.” the hug was over too soon, but she was hoping there would be more in the future. she wanted grace to be okay with the things happening with her, not necessarily the killing, but with being what she now was. valerie vamped away, grabbing some soapy water and clean wash cloths, before coming back to her daughter, “i’ll get you some clean clothes too, as soon as we get you cleaned up, but i need to know where the body is, so that i can go and clean it up. and then when i come back, we can have an actual conversation about all of this.”
a swarm of emotions were plaguing her, how did anyone ever deal with killing an innocent person? demons, dick vampires? sure, she killed those easily but an innocent human being was a whole different beast. the blonde swallowed hard, using the backs of her hands to brush her blonde locks from her face. slowly she sat on the edge of valerie’s couch, sighing softly and finally the tears were slowed to just streaming her cheeks rather than a full on sob. after her mother came back she nodded and reached her hand into the soapy water to grab a cloth. “he’s in the park, in a bush - i panicked and left him, i didn’t know what to do.” she whispered softly, gaze fixed on the floor and she slowly scrubbed her skin.

He was going to say something else but when she mentioned food, his stomach growled loudly. “I.. think we’ve just solved the problem. Last time I ate was a pudding in hospital.”
“a pudding cup? that’s all? well it’s no wonder you fainted.” she sounded more like the parent than the daughter in that moment, but she didn’t care. she was finally meeting him and he was mortal. “so what’s it going to be? sandwich or pizza?”
cfsalvatore:
Stefan looked up at Grace when she spoke then looked around again, clearly slightly confused for a moment. “W-what? I passed out?” Letting out a sigh, he sat himself up against the headboard. “I don’t know why this is happening.” Stefan did feel silly though.
"mhm.” she said, then furrowing her brows. “so.. you’ve passed out more than once since being back? i think maybe you should see a doctor, make sure you don’t have the flu or something.. but in the mean time i put some water there next to the bed and you should have some kind of food, i could order a pizza or make you a sandwich.”
geminioutcast:
“Honestly the man scares me so I’d rather not go near him anytime soon,” he snorted, continuing to kiss her as he picked her up again. “Oh, I know how we can celebrate,” he said as he vamped into his room and placed her on the bed before grinning devilishly
when she was lifted up again, a giggle passed by her lips and legs wrapped around his waist. grace’s lips were fused against gabriels, hands quick to find a pathway up and into his dark locks before she was sat on the softness of the bed beneath her. he had kissed her before but somehow now? the kiss felt more. vibrations sent from her lips shot through her entire body. “this is a celebration i can get behind, underneath.. on top of, whatever.” she said breathlessly as she looked up at him when he grinned.
CLOSED.
valerictullc:
“oh. OH!” valerie exclaimed, as grace flung herself into her arms. arms wrapped tightly around the girl, threading her fingers into her hair. “calm down, grace. it’s okay, just calm down. every new vampire has done something they regret.” she doesn’t know if that’s true, but knows that she herself has done many things that she regrets, and she knows that stefan has had more than a few problems with vampirism. she definitely doesn’t want that for her daughter. “let’s just get you cleaned up, and then i’ll help you deal with the body. we’ll get you through this, no matter what it takes.”
a bad time for a first hug? probably. but grace couldn’t help herself, she was full of emotion and she couldn’t handle it, not right now. her mothers tried to help, tried calming her down but she wasn’t sure she could. the blonde tried to pull herself together, she sniffled and gently pulled back from her mothers arms and wiped her tears away. “im sorry.” she whispered. “for barging in and attack hugging you i just..” needed my mom. but the words didn’t seem to come out right now. she nodded in agreement when she offered to help clean her up, she let out a shaky breath in hopes of regulating her breathing.
daddyxjesse:
“Old age,” he questioned jokingly. “Have mercy, child. Are trying to break my heart?” Jesse feigned a broken heart as he dramatically placed a hand to his chest before a laugh erupted from his lips. Looking down at the blonde he grinned and shook his head. “You choose, my dear,” he told her. “I’ll eat anything, you know that.”
“i mean im old, but you’re even older... some might even say ancient.” she smiled and pursed her lips in thought, she hadn’t exactly tried human food since turning but she may as well now, right? “there’s this thai place that is insane, i love going there. it’s only a few blocks away and we have lots to catch up on. how are you? how are the boys?” grace asks curiously.
