I love how every band randomly has an obscure B-side / demo that's one of the most gut-wrenchingly beautiful things you've ever heard and they don't acknowledge its existence. And if it wasn't for Youtube, you could only find it on an ancient mix cassette that was only released to 10 people.

Apparently I've summoned millipedes into my house with all my drawings about them. I've found 8 this week. Fortunately they're the friend kind, so I've been trying to put them somewhere safe outside if I find them, but it's so weird anyway...

I don't know who this would interest, but the projects I've been working on actually make up a trilogy. They're not linked story-wise, but more through a shared universe and their colour and thematic schemes: Good Night, Tortureland - blue / sadness The Great Katabasis - red / anger Strange Hours in Gaunt Hollow - green / happiness

I've been avoiding developing them as books, but one day I'll give it up and write them.

One of the best things about being a writer is thinking of something small you can add to your work that’s just. Devastating. Like you’re sitting there going. Oh. That would be diabolical. People would get really riled up about that. Exquisite. Let’s do it.

The child of a vampire and a werewolf would be sort of screwed, wouldn't they? It's possible they get the strength of both, but also could get the weaknesses of both, and they couldn't go out in the sunlight OR under the moon. And if they bit you, would you also become both or would there be a 50/50 chance?

Louboutin and Lacroix Christien are brothers from Delacambre, Louisiana who work in the Green Dolphin laundry room. They’re both inmates, arrested after DNA from a missing sailor was found under Louboutin’s nails. Lacroix confessed to assisting in the hopes his big brother would get a lesser sentence, but it only served to get them both thrown in the slammer.

They run the laundry room pretty well at least, and they work best together. Even the immensely petty warden Moschino acknowledges the laundry is done well and efficiently when they’re on duty together.

Speaking of missing sailors, they both seem to miss an old friend of theirs who used to work on a fishing boat near the docks they both worked out of. The Christiens may have been shrimpers, but they hung out at a couple of the restaurants in the area during the times they were in port and had time for any kind of break. They’d know him from that goofy bang he had, but they’ve long given up seeing him again. After all, they’re in Florida now. What are the odds he’d show up here?

One person they DON’T miss is the guy who used to set up shop doing yoyo tricks on the docks and scam people out of their money. Never trust a man whose eyes you can’t see. What was his name again… Oaky? Ogley?

If a TV is shown in TGK, it will have to be on something deeply off-putting and Lynchian. Like an endless clip of someone crying silently by themselves, or an uncanny "thing" watching the viewer through a doorway.
