The only reason that Carly has really been nice to Elizabeth is because she at first assumed that the woman was  the reason her daughter was still alive. Even when they found out that wasn’t possible, she was still happy for Liz because Liz got her son back. But…when she finds out what Liz has done? How she knew Jake was Jason and kept it from him? How….what?? Don’t get me wrong!! I like Rebecca Herbst! I think she’s an excellent actress and I know this quote is old but when I reread it, I literally said “What the fuck?!” So, even the actress believes Jason and Elizabeth never had a chance?? Are you fucking serious right now?! I’m hoping she said that shit just to please these annoying ass Liason fans because that whole “never had the timing right” is bullshit. Jason tried to be with Elizabeth, (I know a good chunk of the history, or at least what I could tolerate) but she has always tried to change him rather than just accept him for who he is and the life he chose because she has always been stuck in the past. WHICH IS WHY HE’S ALWAYS WANTED TO BE WITH SAM!! HE DIDN’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANY OF THAT! SAM WAS STRONG ON HER OWN AND ACCEPTED HIM FOR WHO HE WAS!

Jason was engaged to Elizabeth, had a baby by her (not planned; HIS WORDS), and all kinds of shit but Jason always knew deep down that Elizabeth was not the woman for him and he knew she could never handle him or his life and he didn’t have time for that. He wasn’t going to make her any promises about her, him and the 20 kids she has being one big happy family. He knew she wanted that “fairy tale” like life and he knew it wouldn’t be with him. So why would he waste his time? If he really loved Elizabeth, he would fight to be with her, damn the consequences, like he has with Sam on numerous occasions.

It’s never been a “timing” issue for Liason, they’ve just never been right for each other and the only person who can’t accept that is Liz and apparently RH…
