I know there are some misconceptions out there:

Kelly does want her job back. We've been in contact with her and her mother. It is why we're still fighting for her.

Kelly did take the pay cut that ABC required for all of their shows.

Man I have so much to say but first let me say this....

Kelly Monaco THANKYOU for all of your hard work. I have followed you from Port Charles to GH to DWTS ( I voted Every single time) etc. I liked the character Sam McCall way before there was ever a JaSam I was a fan from the beginning and let me tell you something I've enjoyed every single episode you've been in. Not one time did you not give your very best because you did. Every time Sam wasn't on , I was like where's Kelly?

So I just want YOU to know that you are Beautiful and that you are loved. There is no one and I do mean no one that could ever do or replace the hard work you've put in. Every Storyline/ Episode you gave 150,000% ❤️

Thankyou for every part you put into the character Sam which was fierce, extremely loyal, loving, kind but will kick your you know what if you mess with her family or loved ones. #TotalBadAzz

I'm sorry that this happened to you but know when one door closes another opens. So with that said on this new journey I pray that you find closure, peace, love, happiness and appreciation because you deserve all that and more. As for Sam McCall YOU DID THAT you made that character and made it your own, everything she is today and why the character is luv by so many fans.

You are my FAVORITE Actress on GH and will always remain so. So cheers to you Kelly for all the Phenomenal work you have done but also about to do.

Retain Kelly Monaco in the Cast of General Hospital

As I’m sure many of you know, GH has decided to fire Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall)! She is reportedly blindsided by the decision, which comes on the heels of being asked to take a pay cut (which she agreed to!!) and was then fired anyways.

Her character is slated to be killed off in the fall, which means we have just a few short weeks to act!

It should be noted that GH is currently promoting the return of a legacy character fan favorite (Jonathan Jackson as Lucky) and has just announced the hiring of three(!) new cast members to bring in for his storyline.

It should ALSO be noted that reportedly several of the female cast members have been asked to take pay cuts, and journalists are predicting more cut announcements are to come.

After 21 years, Kelly Monaco deserves more than a rushed exit storyline where her character is killed off. Please sign the petition and help us keep her! Efforts like this have worked before to keep Genie Francis and Rebecca Herbst on the show… and may need to work again in the near future!

Hey, y'all. I realize that I'm not very active on here these days, but one thing that will always remain true for me is that I started this blog as a soap blog and I will continue to support my favorite characters and ships from those shows, always.

If you don't know by now, it was recently announced that Kelly Monaco was fired from General Hospital for no reason, and we're not happy about it. She has given twenty-one years to this show, putting blood, sweat, and tears into playing Sam McCall, and to see her treated this way is so incredibly terrible.

GH fans have created a petition in support of Kelly that currently has just over 10k signatures, we're sending letters to ABC, emailing, and calling the network's hotlines. If you would like to help, feel free to write a letter or call a hotline but at the very least, I hope that anyone that can would be willing to sign our petition. Thanks!
