So excited for this project. My best friend, who was raised in foster care, wrote a story for those going through what she did. It’s a heart wrenching but hopeful story, and I’m so proud to be a part of this.
This will be my first piece to show in a gallery!!! I'm so excited!!!

Fiance snapped a couple progress pics of me working. This one is for a local exhibition for trauma survivors, themed around Emily Dickinson's "Hope is the thing with feathers."
Tentative title is "Hope Is Healing." I'll post more about what the various elements represent as it progresses.
