I had a look through Lightroom for the first time in ages earlier. I think I’ll perhaps start to post photos more regularly on here again.

Also, watermarks - I never previously saw the need for them on a small personal blog like this but recently I’ve come across a bunch of my photos used elsewhere without my permission. Mostly it’s harmless but when a business takes them and reuploads them just as mindless ‘content’ for their social pages it gets a little annoying. So, hopefully they’re just intrusive enough that they put people off from doing that, but not so intrusive that they feel too ‘in your face’.

A shape model of comet 67P/C-G I've computed for my master's project. Next step is running some thermal simulations on the thing!

Lower image is a new version textured with a colour scale to indicate the degree to which it matches a shape model released by ESA. Blue areas match more closely than green which match more closely than red. The ‘reddest’ areas correspond to a deviation from the ESA reference model of less than 1%. Pretty good fit overall!

I've been driving around North America with four friends for the past month. We just left Yosemite where I shot these short clips.
