just finished episode 1 of the total drama island reboot, my thoughts so far!

Chris's voice is bugging me a LOT, but I understand why they didn't want the og voice actor to reprise his role.

Zee is funny and probably gonna be one of my all time total drama favs

My LEAST favorites so far are Ripper, Chase, Lauren, and Nishelle

The characters I do like so far are Zee, Bowie, Priya, Millie, and Julia. I like Bowie a lot, though, since it seems like he's being fr about winning the game

I have some spoilers, but not a lot, yk?

I'll make another post when I finish it!

Random ass theory for Total Drama Island because I think about it a lot.

I don't remember where this theory originated from, I remember seeing it on TikTok, so I do *NOT* take credit for this theory. But basically the theory is that Trent has brain damage in the second season, which I can totally get behind.

Now, where did this brain damage come from? Well, remember the episode they were supposed to cook pufferfish *correctly* and Lindsay failed to do so, causing Trent to have MAJOR food poisoning. (Episode 11; who can you trust)

The symptoms he shows of brain damage, (and bare with me since I haven't watched the second season in a while), include; anxiety, brain fog and behavior that contradicts his behavior prior.

While he had a crush on Gwen before, his obsessive actions towards her were not in character.

I dunno if any of that made sense, but whatever LMAO

If I were to rewrite the cheating plot point of Total Drama World Tour, I wouldn't make it about cheating.

I'd make it about Courtney *thinking* that Duncan was cheating on her with Gwen, especially with how close of a friendship Gwen and Duncan would have (shown in season 1), and her final nail in the coffin is this;

Duncan expresses to Gwen, in the confessional booth, that he is concerned about his relationship with Courtney, and maybe their differences are too much for them to date.

Gwen is like, "Hey, but you'll always have me," like in a friend way but since Tyler overhears, who isn't in the loop, assumes that Duncan is gonna leave Courtney for Gwen.

And blah blah blah it continues on the same from there. Since Courtney is so stubborn, she wouldn't be willing to hear either Gwen or Duncan out.

idk, I hate the Duncney cheating plot and it's so out of character for Duncan to do, especially after he was so lovestruck by Courtney in the first two seasons.
