Let’s Talk About The Wedding || Fabrevans
Quinn knew that planning a wedding wouldn’t be Sam’s idea of fun necessarily, but she thought that it might be a good chance to be able to have a chat about some of the ideas that they might have had, or even to try and get some inspiration for it. She and Sam hadn’t exactly had a lot of time for themselves recently, and she felt like maybe if they spent some time talking about the wedding, they might be able to get some of that closeness back for the afternoon. Bringing food back for him was one of the ways she was going to convince him that maybe this was a good way to spend the afternoon.
“Well I’m not entirely sure if people do use them… Maybe they don’t, but I got a little excited on the way to getting the bagels, and I saw them on the news stand… I couldn’t help myself!” She said with a laugh, knowing that sometimes she was a sucker for these kinds of things. She might have been distracted by the different things there were to organise. This was the only wedding that she was planning on having, and she wanted to make sure that it was 100% perfect for both her and Sam. She wasn’t one of those brides that thought it was only about her, it was going to be perfect for the both of them.
She leaned herself into Sam as they got themselves comfortable on the couch, resting her feet up to put the magazine in her lap. “Well, all we really agreed on was the fact that we wanted to have the wedding in Tennessee, right? So that we can be close to your family?” She asked, making sure that this was still the idea that Sam wanted to go through with. “So we can’t really choose a place for it since we’re not there. But we can still look at the other parts to it. Like cakes.” She grinned, flicking through the magazine to where the cakes had been photographed. “Some of these are… really fancy.”
Sam took another bite of his bagel as they spoke about the wedding magazines, he had no idea what was inside those anyways, but he would find out soon. He finished his bagel, before pressing a small kiss to Quinn’s temple, “I can tell that you’re excited.” He grinned, he knew her better than anyone, it was nice to see her so happy about something, especially when he’d seen her super tired most of the time recently. Wedding planning really seemed to make her happy, “I guess we can check them out.” Sam stated, he wasn’t really sure how the real wedding planning looked like, mostly because he hadn’t really thought about that so far but he assumed Quinn knew what she was doing. He trusted her with that stuff.
He tightened his arm around Quinn as she moved a bit closer to her, enjoying the feeling of being ‘normal’ for the first time in weeks. The little moments of them just acting like an average couple were his favourites and he wanted to cherish them as much as he could. Hearing the question about the wedding in Tennessee, Sam pursued his lips. He wasn’t entirely sure if that was a good idea, it was something he had mentioned randomly, and hadn’t really thought about that much, “I don’t know, babe.” Sam said, “My whole family is there, but this wedding is about us... not just me. I’m sure we want our friends to come, and they live in New York.” He told her, wondering how hard it would be to make the final decision, “I’m okay with both options. I know I mentioned Tennessee back then, but it was kinda random and maybe not really smart...” He spoke, his eyes focused on Quinn. It wouldn't be easy to plan the whole wedding, however he believed that together they could do anything. Both of them wanted that one day to be special.
“Woah, the cakes.” Sam said impressed as Quinn opened the magazines. He had never been really aware of variety of those things, “Wow.” He repeated, staring at some of the offers shown in the magazine, “Those are amazing. And super expensive too, for sure.” He mused, glancing at Quinn for a moment, before pressing a soft kiss to her cheek. No matter what they were discussing, he just wanted to enjoy being with her.
