Let’s Talk About The Wedding || Fabrevans

The idea of them talking about the wedding wasn’t exactly number one on Sam’s mind when he imagined Quinn having a free afternoon. He was still kind of getting used to being engaged, and always thought they would wait for quite a long time till they get married, there was no rush, after all. If Quinn was so adamant on discussing the subject he wouldn’t mind it though, maybe it would be a nice start to a cool afternoon. They hadn’t spent much time together recently so he would pretty much take any activities they could do together.
“Right.” Sam agreed with Quinn with a small nod of his head. He was still sort of sleepy, but figured out spending time with his fiancee was definitely a better idea than napping, “I’ve always wondered if people really use those…” The blonde pointed at bunch of the magazines Quinn had bought on her way to the apartment, kind of curious if they really had a useful content. Not that Sam knew much about the wedding planning, he wasn’t eager to find out either, he just wanted their wedding to work out well, just like they did as a couple. Simple as that.
“You’ve got me with the bagels.” Sam grinned, leaning forward for a second to grab his favourite one. Quinn probably wouldn’t mind him eating while they discuss their future wedding. He wrapped his arm around Quinn’s shoulders pulling her closer and leaning back on the couch, making sure they would make the most of their closeness, “So, what do we do now? I mean…what do you talk about while discussing wedding planning?”
Quinn knew that planning a wedding wouldn’t be Sam’s idea of fun necessarily, but she thought that it might be a good chance to be able to have a chat about some of the ideas that they might have had, or even to try and get some inspiration for it. She and Sam hadn’t exactly had a lot of time for themselves recently, and she felt like maybe if they spent some time talking about the wedding, they might be able to get some of that closeness back for the afternoon. Bringing food back for him was one of the ways she was going to convince him that maybe this was a good way to spend the afternoon.
“Well I’m not entirely sure if people do use them… Maybe they don’t, but I got a little excited on the way to getting the bagels, and I saw them on the news stand… I couldn’t help myself!” She said with a laugh, knowing that sometimes she was a sucker for these kinds of things. She might have been distracted by the different things there were to organise. This was the only wedding that she was planning on having, and she wanted to make sure that it was 100% perfect for both her and Sam. She wasn’t one of those brides that thought it was only about her, it was going to be perfect for the both of them.
She leaned herself into Sam as they got themselves comfortable on the couch, resting her feet up to put the magazine in her lap. “Well, all we really agreed on was the fact that we wanted to have the wedding in Tennessee, right? So that we can be close to your family?” She asked, making sure that this was still the idea that Sam wanted to go through with. “So we can’t really choose a place for it since we’re not there. But we can still look at the other parts to it. Like cakes.” She grinned, flicking through the magazine to where the cakes had been photographed. “Some of these are… really fancy.”
