You know, usually I can look past it when professors all pile crazy amount of work on you at once, cause I figure they don't know what the others are doing, but when the professors are married and pretty much everyone's taking both their classes, it's gets a little annoying when they both give major projects at once.

Yeah. I talked to Kurt, and I have to talk to Brittany about this but. Probably watch Chicago, and Orange Is The New Black and something else on Netflix over at mine and Brittany’s apartment.
That sounds like a good idea.
I dunno what it is but Lima feels better to me than New York does. I’ll have to ask Finn if we can go on the weekend, a factory full of M&M’s sounds like a dream come true.
I'm sorry. I mean, I miss Tennessee but ... New York is really home to me now.

Kum on a Coffee Date With Me
Kurt listened to Sam talk about the Smoky Mountains and Dollywood and got excited…Dolly Parton had been a huge idol of Kurt’s as a small child, and was really the only country artist he would admit that about. He had never been to her park, but now he had an excuse to go visit Sam soon. Once the other boy was sitting down, Kurt waited for their coffee orders and carried both of them to their table. It was much easier for him to carry them since he had two free hands, after all. After setting their respective coffees down, he took his seat across from the blonde and finally answered his question.
"I think the reason you’ve never mentioned this is because we’ve always had way too many problems going on to discuss trivial things like what fun things there are to do where we live. When was the last time I ever talked about Cedar Point?" He reasoned, as he leaned forward slightly in his chair. Unwrapping the cookie, he took a bite out of it. It was delicious! They were warm, so it was pretty clear they had just come out of the oven. "There are really good. Do you want to try it?" He quickly bit off a small piece for Sam, offering it as he continued with what he was saying. “But yeah, if you live near Dollywood then I definitely have to come visit. We can take your siblings up there for the day and I’m guessing you’d use a wheelchair since it would be hard to walk around all day with a cane? We can get in rides so much quicker using the handicap line”
Sam nodded, realizing that Kurt had a point. By the time they had really begun to get close, Sky had been diagnosed and there had been seemingly endless problems surrounding them after that. They had never really had the chance to talk much about little things like what all there was to do at their hometowns. "I guess you're right, there was never really the chance." he admitted, "I think you could like it though, the mountains really are amazing and Dollywood's great, but there's a lot of other stuff to do too. There's a lot of dinner shows and stuff, but most of them are pretty cheesy. I bet you'd really like downtown Gatlinburg though." he explained.
Sam mentally braced himself once Kurt tried the cookie, taking a sip of his own coffee to delay responding. "Nah, I don't like those all that much, really. And I'm not hungry anyway." he said casually, mentally praying that Kurt would buy it. He laughed at the next comment, shaking his head, "You're right, you're right. I really don't think I can walk a theme park with the can. Leave it to you to find a bright side to this in going to a theme park. I hadn't even thought of things like that yet." he admitted, thinking that the kids really would love getting to go to Dollywood with Kurt and getting through the lines quickly.

Kum on a Coffee Date With Me
As Kurt pulled away from Sam, he started walking towards the short coffee line with his friend. “I agree. Next summer, I’ll totally go to Tennessee with you. As horrible as that sounds, it’ll be worth it to see your brother and your sister.” Kurt agreed, tossing his head around a little bit in an animated fashion as he spoke. As long as he didn’t think about the Blaine drama, which he needed to talk to Sam about, he was in such a good mood! After a few seconds, a realization hit him and he gasped with excitement. “Do you live near Dollywood?”
As Kurt neared the counter, he began eyeing the jumbo spiced apple cookies that the cafe had no doubt only just started selling as part of their fall cookie line. Kurt quickly pulled out his wallet, ordering one and buying it before giving Sam his frappuccino order details so the blonde could buy his coffee.
Sam laughed a little at Sam's instant dismissal of visiting Sam's home town, wondering how he had never mentioned all there was in the area. He headed over to the line with Kurt, looking over the menu and quickly trying to estimate how much each option would set him back for the day before he heard Kurt speak again and shook his head, "It's only half an hour away, how I have I never mentioned that?" he questioned. "Dollywood's in the Smoky Mountains too, do you have any idea how much there is to do there? It's definitely not boring."
He internally winced as he saw the cookie Kurt bought, hoping there would be no mention of Sam trying one too, but he simply nodded, making a mental note of what Kurt wanted before repeating it to the woman at the counter again along with his own carefully chosen order before making his way over to sit down.
You’re quite welcome! You know normally I charge a fee for such sleuthing, but with you it just didn’t feel right.

Kum on a Coffee Date With Me
With a content sigh, Kurt stared out at the busy city street. He had loved being away in Europe over the last month, but it was great to be home. The trip was supposed to be just a way to get away from everything for a short amount of time. He wanted to see Sky’s family, and be far away from New York on the anniversary of their last date. But as Kurt retraced the vacation he had taken with his late boyfriend, it was therapeutic in a lot of ways. Their relationship had started on that trip, and at the time everything seemed so simple. No diagnosis, no hospitals. No deteriorating physical or mental health. No talking his boyfriend out of giving up, just to one day discover it had all been in vain and he was gone. The first trip had been about discovering their feelings for each other, about making a connection and being happy with each other. It had been about a carefree vacation of taking goofy pictures and letting the world know they were now together, and sampling wine and tricking Sky’s drunk aunt into thinking Kurt couldn’t speak any English. It had been about fun and making each other happy. Kurt hadn’t always been miserable with Sky, even if it felt like that once he opened up about his diagnosis and for a really long time after his death.
The old Kurt Hummel was back. He was changed from his experiences, but who wouldn’t be changed from going a little crazy in that kind of tragedy? He couldn’t view Sky’s death in a positive light like ‘it made me stronger’ or ‘it was worth it to get to this point’, because a nineteen year old kid was dead and there was no justifying that. But after everything, he was finally acting and feeling like his old self and he was so happy to hear a lot of the words that came out of his own mouth.
As Sam walked into the coffee shop, Kurt stood up from the window table he had been saving for them and ran over to his friend. He carefully hugged the blonde, making sure he wouldn’t be forcing Sam to put weight on his bad leg. “It feels like it’s been way too long!” He said quietly, eyes closed, as his head rested on Sam’s shoulder for a moment before he pulled away with a huge grin on his face.
Sam made his way down to the cafe, carefully navigating his way through the crowds to avoid getting knocked over. Some people either didn't notice the cane or didn't care, and he had ended up on the sidewalk more times then he would care to admit, especially early on. Frustrating as it could sometimes be to have to pay such careful attention while just walking a few blocks, it had become part of his routine and barely seemed abnormal anymore.
Coffee had become something he was very careful about, on it's own it wasn't bad, and most people wouldn't question a plain cup of coffee much, but he knew that he would need to adjust his diet for the day and get something that wouldn't give Kurt room to question anything. It didn't have to become part of his routine, but a little retroactive cover-up could go a long way in keeping his best friend from realizing anything was wrong.
He stepped into the cafe and beamed when he spotted Kurt, opening his arms to pull him into a hug. "It has been way too long." he agreed, "Next Summer we need to do something together, even if it's just you tagging along back to Tennessee with me for a week or so, I know Stevie and Stacy would like to see you again and I can show you around, we're not too far from some pretty cool stuff."
