Felix drew this from the tales of the adults, called the realm eaters. Charbidis overpower most of the Gods, and from what I know it would take one of the grand gods to even have a fair fight. The creatures are so powerful that when they enter a realm to feast, it's said that the oceans boil in their presence. To push back against the beast would take the whole realm to fight, friend and foe, evil and good. They would all have to  fight together to stand a chance against it to protect their home realm. This gives rise to their other name, the Uniter, Beast of Morality.

I've never seen one in adolescence, well not up close. When we sailed the Sue Rehi, I remember Felix’s face sleeping not too far from the Voe, a creature that sleeps in the soul river. It was honestly incredible to look at,– even though it wasn’t fully grown– and the way it coiled made its Soul churn and shift. Watching it sleep.. It was like a God. Felix and I looked at eachother. If we weren't on our way to fight those 3 bastards, I think we might have tried our luck. I know Felix, and unlike them normally, they were raring to go.

I remember the way it slinked around the earth. It had this… thick acidic mucus, similar to the mucus of the Hagbears Of the Abyssal Realm, but much stronger. I remember feeling the mucus seep into my pores, how it burned and ate my skin. It was terrifying– easily one of the worst things I’d ever encountered. I'm so sorry. Polka forgave me but I don't think Soddom ever did. By the time I got to know Soddom, he was already gone.

The memory is faint– since I was still steeped in a hazy rage when they found this– and Felix was drawing from memory so it might not be accurate. It has been what? 7 or 8 years since then? God, I remember the feeling when it hatched and it damn near shook the planet. I remember the fear that consumed my body, and the look on the others' faces as they felt the same way. It was then, on that mountain, that I believe Soddom first felt fear. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to…

I remember watching those Snapdragons with Felix and Qiubby, Polka taking care of you at the time. I remember the look of joy on Felix’s face, his glee filled smile. Since Qiubby left early, I think she almost cried. I felt sorry, though I bit my tongue. When I looked back to Felix they looked nostalgic, most likely reminded of Hugo. I think they were close, though I didn’t know Hugo very long like the rest did. I felt an odd and rare emotion when looking at both, but I hope you get the chance to feel it some day. A chance to feel true empathy. A true and painful empathy for another’s regrets.

Felix told us how those creatures bonded for life. It was simple and similar to the dragons. Something was beautiful and so cute about the Snapdragons, how they would offer each other the crest on their heads as a show of their love. Their crest was the manifestation of their soul, their magic being held within it. They were willing to give up their entire being for a chance of being accepted by their love, an adorable and meaningful gesture, one that never falls on deaf ears. The other offers up their crest as well, their soul, and they both eat each others crackers, binding their souls for life.

Felix told us how the Snapdragons hunted. I remember the glee in Felix’s eyes as they watched for hours from afar as they drew. I don’t know why, maybe Felix wanted to pass them onto you as I am now. Maybe it was those hands of theirs, but when I see Felix drawing in the trees, something just made me smile watching that glee. I never looked at creatures that intently, as with my hue I viewed creatures as you might view me and your father; lesser beings below you. But watching Felix made me want to love those Snapdragons the same as them.

This was the first thing Felix drew, and I’m not sure why. Felix is an interesting one; they found a fondness for watching the wilds, and have spent hours speaking to us. They talk about the Snapdragons, their personalities, the way they move, how they change colours, and how they taste when they are young due to the berries that they eat. Felix spoke a lot about this with fascination. I watched Felix’s smile as they spoke, and I offered to beckon one over or summon one with my hue, but Felix told me no. They just loved watching, and we spent a month on that island watching and winding down.
