The Angel (Player) leaves the world of Deltarune, believing that they are meant to leave the world earlier this time to let everyone be happy. This causes catastrophic results, and Kris, Susie, and Ralsei must deal with the resulting aftermath. Salvaging the situation seems impossible... but...

When Did You Start Being Yourself?

Status: Completed Words: 42,796 Chapters: 3/3 Description: A continuation of A World Without You. The Titan's question digs into the Angel far more than it should have, causing the Titan battle to go a bit differently.

Description: A Twilight Princess fic focusing on Link's journey through his own Hyrule as well as a journey he is unwillingly thrust into by the goddesses as punishment. Years pass. People grow. The world moves on without you. The Angel grew content with that for a while. It still hurt whenever they thought of the world that had long banished them, but something new pulled them out of the depths. Now, the Angel walks amongst friends who swear that they will not be banished. Kris, Susie, and Ralsei mean everything to them. Maybe this time, their banishment doesn't have to be as set in stone as they thought.

The Roaring comes. The light falters. Everyone falls.

A desperate connection is established in an attempt to save what remains of the Angel. If they fall, all hope will be lost. The world that banished the Angel long ago has forgotten them, but they have not forgotten it. This connection will have to be enough. More Flowers for You!

here's that second Flower Angel drawing for @star-pup01 :D so! Flower Language! The flowers that I chose to draw in here are the ones I kind of think suited the Angel. They are the Blue Roses (meaning something impossible, and achieving something impossible) , the Rhododendron flower near their tail (meaning Danger or a Warning of dangers), and the Zinnia Flower near the phone (meaning Endurance, Lasting Affection and Rememberance!)

every day of my life i read someone being like “why doesn’t this story just solve the problem immediately and casually? they just drag it out and make it an issue” well. because that’s the Story

The further I get into AFWT, the more I realize that Ralsei and the Angel being in separate worlds entirely was probably needed. Guy who shows all the care in the world with physical affection vs the person who explodes when wind hits them wrong.

They're going to show up to Deltarune and see a boss healthbar with Ralsei's name on it.

One thing that i really like about Tobys music is that the guy really does just make different tunes for nigh every scene in the game. Like music does get reused, but for the most part you can tell what part of the game you are on based on music alone when listening to the soundtrack.

Pair this with DTs excellent story and each and every time i listen to the soundtrack at work its like im playing the games except, only through music?

kind of like that one kid that memorized shrek 2 and could watch it with their eyes closed, except i need the tunes.

When I was fresh out of chapters 3 and 4 I used to put the entire ch1 to 4 soundtrack on and just go ham on sorting papers in office.

I was an unstoppable tornado of carton boxes and dated deliveries, while my brain was like "ginger bread house fuck yeah"

whenever i reached black knife it was break time.

HA I used to just turn on the OST at work too and it was always a benchmark. Had to stop doing it because then I was always painfully aware of what time it is due to what part of the OST I was in.

...and also because I genuinely hate all of the Sweet Cap'n Cake song renditions. They absorb so much of the ch2 Deltarune soundtrack, and just when you think you've escaped it, it plays AGAIN.

But yeah! Excited for all the new music we're going to get!

Here's my attempt at making dark world forms for Papyrus and Sans from @star-pup01's fic. Originally wanted to give Paps a newer swashbuckler shirt, but his lower ribs kept clipping through it. Couldn't resist giving him a hat. Paps got snowforged rapier cuz it's the only one so far that looks like it could be made from bones. (made the blade blue to sort of match the disarming theme). Sans... well, he's green and he uses usual bone magic. Not much I can say about him.

Nope. Too much of a risk of being spoiled or someone trying to backseat. I’ll be recording it just like my last playthrough, but that’s it.

How does it feel to be wrong about chapter 5 releasing on October 31st?

I mean I knew. I was coping.

Its neat how boss monsters having digitigrade legs is unique to this fic also.

I know Toriels and boss monster designs get abreviated a lot, but its still kinda neat how, atleast from what i can glean out of the sprite design, the legs seem to actualy look a lot like human legs do? The paws are an obvious outlier but the heel seems to stay on the ground and the knee is also in the same place a human knee would be. Asgores battle sprite shows this as well, those feet are planted firmly on the ground.

Its something i used to agonize over a bit but honestly, eh, if anything i should draw toriel with digitigrade legs more.

This is because Toby is a coward

And I think it’s more fun that way.
