hey, haven't used this blog in a long while. Major life news. I'm a man now.
I got into marvel fandom in the first place because I read a fanfic where Steve Rogers was a trans man and it was like something lit up in the back of my head. I could not stop reading those stories and I got into Captain America as a result.
It took me another eight years to figure out why those stories were so thrilling and soothing at the same time. And I did the same thing with the next few fandoms I read fanfiction for lol. I'll always be grateful for all the people I met in cap fandom and for the outlet it gave me for sorting out my gender, even if it took another decade to figure things out.
I've been on T for over a year and I'm happier than I've ever been. I'm @bearberrythief these days if you wanna say hi after all this time.
everyone says how harry would do numbers on tumblr and ignores how kim would Also absolutely do numbers on tumblr
he said this. in the crime scene. straight up "hitting it". and by "it", haha, well. lets just say. the crime
I'm getting back into drawing again, so I made a side blog for it @bearberryart
There's not much up yet, just a few sketches and some Mob psycho 100 fanart, but I'll be posting what I make. If you're interested, check it out!
remember: the ‘holy’ white doves are just white rock doves, aka the common pigeon!
Doves are just pigeons with white privilege
Also can we talk about how STUNNING their irredentist feathers are?
This post made me finally look up whether Australian crested pigeons are also doves, and I didn’t quite understand the wiki page but I think the answer is ‘yes’.
You guys are gonna go ham when you hear about fruit doves
But get a load of these fat bois. The kererū, or New Zealand wood pigeon.
If anyone is still around...
I left because I realized being on fandom tumblr was no longer good for my mental health or for my personal relationships. I’m not coming back, but I’m leaving this blog up so people who want to can continue to visit my art.
I unfollowed pretty much everyone, but feel free to reach out, I’m not like mad at anyone or looking down on people in fandom. I just didn’t want the temptation to get sucked into fandom drama after I worked so hard to figure out how to be a person not defined by what media I consume and how I consume it. I also don’t have an interest in developing a habit of staring at the activity tab for like an hour a day again.
I’m not planning on like blogging again beyond the occasional reblog but if you want to you can find me at @bearberrythief
I hope everyone I knew back in the day is doing well! I’m glad I found some sense of community here when I was desperately lonely and confused about how to be a person. Thank you for being part of that.

this is it. the worst post i’ve ever seen. my own two eyes are cursed
This is so
Unnecessary
how do you explain to someone that this is your sense of humour
You can’t. Just save this video to your phone. Show it to them if they laugh you’ve made a friend, if not their loss.
“We don’t just have a skeleton,” said one of the nodosaur researchers involved. “We have a dinosaur as it would have been.”
Known as a nodosaur, this 110 million-year-old, armored plant-eater is the best preserved fossil of its kind ever found.

unfathomable
This is maybe the coolest thing I’ve ever reblogged.
Hey all, remember when I said I’d never do another picture-fic because I don’t have photoshop and it’s straight up the devil’s work? Yeah, I lied.
someone give me validation this took forever

Okay guys, but imagine:
Gabriel and Beelzebub start sniffing around Crowley and Aziraphale again. The two of them are trying to figure out what to do, sitting in the back of Aziraphale’s shop. Crowley is alternately sprawled in an armchair or pacing, while Aziraphale sits at a desk facing him, hands steepled as he thinks.
They both agree that they need an alternative to the face swap. It’s not viable long-term, and sooner or later Gabriel and/or Beelzebub will catch on.
“We need a way for me to borrow your holiness,” Crowley starts,
“And for me to borrow your, ah, blasphemousness,” Aziraphale agrees.
“Yeah, at a moment’s notice.“ The demon throws himself back down on the chair in disgust, limbs pointing every different direction.
“Some sort of, connection, I suppose, that will work on all planes.” Crowley makes a noise of agreement.
For several long minutes, there is silence. Somewhere a clock ticks
Aziraphale thinks of it first.
“We could get married,” he offers hesitantly, suddenly nervous to look Crowley in the face.

i got slapped with how far right the overton window has shifted in canada when it comes to oil sands. I saw a british channel cover the subject and was knocked back at where the debate is in canada comparatively. keep in mind i dont engage with any post-media news outlets at all (because they're known to be right-wing). this is the video watch?v=CSKfqGc3EbE could you link it in the response for others to see? i feel like it's a massive wakeup call.
I have no excuse for this except Lizzo is a godess and Griffin and Justin using ‘boy’ excessively is peak comedy.
