Ranking Luke Skywalker's outfits from most to least gay:

1. All Black & Chanel Boots

I mean, little else needs to be said other than "Chanel Boots"... (although this is not actually confirmed afaik, it's a headcanon common enough that it's become part of the fandom's collective unconscious)

Extra gay points when the little flap is down.

2. Original Farmboy

The cleavage on that tunic combined with the flowiness of the sleeves is very gay. Even that goddamn pose right there. Luke “but I was going into Tosche Station to pick up some power converters” Skywalker isn’t heterosexual in this galaxy.

Extra gay points for the little poncho he added later. Obviously ponchos are gay, but also covering up to go to the cantina carries a very specific and soft queer undertone.

3. Green Training Tank Top

High-waisted pants and that tank top… Him training with Yoda led to a brief twink death but I can’t say I’m complaining about his training days.

4. Atrocious and Cunty for the Medal Ceremony

The swagger with which he rocks the yellow jacket really makes it gay (especially given how the jacket itself is pretty ugly, hence the title), as well as the fact that he’s wearing knee-high boots and tight pants here.

In my mind, this outfit is a retroactive reference to Freddie Mercury’s “Magic” tour clothing which also features a yellow jacket (and a yellow stripe down the side of the pants, which Luke’s also has).

5. Endor Cowlneck Poncho

Again, ponchos: gay, we’ve been over this. Camo is usually read as profusely straight but he manages to pull it off.

6. Saving the Princess Stormtrooper Disguise

There’s something about the armor that feels simultaneously very gay and straight so I’m placing this one in the middle-ish, but not above his yellow jacket.

7. X-Wing Flight Suit for not kissing Wedge Antilles

It’s standard-issue so I struggle to see his usual queer vibe, but it’s still peeking through a little!

8. Beige? In the Snow??

Again, standard-issue and not the coolest-looking.

9. Mechanic Fixing the Carbonite Chamber

I see no gayness in this outfit whatsoever. This is what a straight man who’s a mechanic would wear.
