FREAKY FRIDAY: We all know Oneida as the makers of the cutlery that we use daily, but did you know… The Oneida community (“The People of the Upright Stone”) was one of the Native American/First Nations People. Oneida had earned the nickname “People of the Upright Stone” when an enemy tribe chased them into a clearing within the woodlands. The enemy of the Oneida could not find them and so it was said that these people had turned themselves into stones that stood in the clearing.
I’m a little surprised that there are some people who don’t know that Oneida is a nation of people. Also we are still around and have onʌyotaˀa:ká communities in southern Ontario, Wisconsin and New York.

depression can be physically exhausting too. constantly putting yourself in triggering situations for your depression or anxiety can be physically exhausting. it can cause achiness or pain in your body. headaches or even nausea.
it’s not always just in our heads. and even when it starts there it can expand far beyond that.
