The opening for the first cour of Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers is here! The song is "Yoake" by blank paper. Did you catch that reference at the end? What do you guys think about this opening sequence? I assume it'll change to include a certain someone as the episodes progress haha.

This opening is pretty rad. Though I'm still not sold on the character designs. I don't like them. I don't want new characters. I would have liked a modern retelling and just put the old characters back will more cool villains. I'm not here for just the armors, I'm here for those characters I love. But we'll see what the show is like. I'm hoping we'll at least see aged up versions of the OG Troopers. I would show up for that.

~Boys of Summer 2024 - Entry 1~

All right! I’m starting the challenge off a little later than everyone else, but better late than never. Time for some new YST/RW content!

First entry is an animated one. What’s in the book he’s reading? …I’ll leave that up to your imagination. 😆

I don't have a lot of time to work on pics as I'm working on a web comic that takes up most of my time. But here's a quick head shot of Cye for the BOS challenge

It's that time of the year again!

All through June, we have our yearly "art" challenge. The goal is to focus on creating YST/RW fanarts through the month. Originally, it was a challenge to draw one piece of fanart every day for all of June. Now, it's expanded to any kind of fan project you want to do and the amount of production is up to you.

Daily word count on a fic? One full colored piece of fanart every week? Whatever works for you and your schedule.

You can post your works here on Tumblr or we also have a channel on the Discord where you can post as well.

My little animated project for February is done! Not as elaborate or detailed as the January one, but I had lots of fun syncing up each frame with the audio. (There’s dialogue in this one! Yay! 😀)

Of course Sage and Rowen ended up as the final characters. My brain wouldn’t have it any other way. 😆
