Every once in a while when I’m trying to plan compositions I think back to this video (around the 3 minute mark) where Youhei decides there should be a bright rimlight on the top left and then draws in the sun afterward.

I’m still like “Dang, you can compose scenes however you want and then nail down a light source after you get the composition you like?”

Now every time I feel locked into a light source I think about that shiny spider-afro again.
