Literally whyyyy was Graystripe ever made deputy. Whitestorm was the best choice absolutely but after he died it should have been like. Goldenflower. Mousefur or Longtail would have been good too

Being deputy is meant to be more than just like friends club isn’t it? like why was Firestars FIRST choice going to be his best friend and not an experienced and respected warrior who is able to give orders and strategize
