I don’t know how many people still follow this blog or anything, let alone if they even still care about Homestuck but a post here has been flagged for “adult content” by Tumblr finally. (It wasn’t adult at all, unless you count swimsuits as NSFW lol.)

In any case, if you want to save any memories/cosplay photos/ect I highly reccomend you do so now before Tumblr decides to take more stuff down.

I have a question! For the toy town donation thing, are we allowed to bring multiple items to donate? I'm just making sure so I don't bring more than one thing/so i can bring more than one thing. I just wanna help as much as i can :D

Donate to build toy town!

Hello lovely members this year instead of a can town food drive we're going to have a toy drive! For the foster kids spending this holiday season in the Polansky center here in San Diego.

There are rules when donating anything such as it must be either new or gently used. This means, especially for toys and clothing. They're either fresh and new form the store, never been used, open or worn. Gently used is its been open, worn or used but it's still looks new and clean, this is especially for stuffed animals.

Below I have attached the Polansky center's "Wish List" for their kids, they have children from all age ranges from new born to teenagers. A lot of these kids are long time foster kids and so making this holiday season extra special with a new toy, new clothes, cd's, dvds and craft toys make the center a little more positive for them until they're placed in a home. For the new ones experiencing this sort of uprooting will really help them adjust and transition into this new setting. Not everyone can be a foster parent, but anyone can help a foster kid♥ with love lets make this awesome. please don't feel compelled to donate if you have the means, if you have some clutter to get rid of, whatever you can do to help thats all that matters. We'll also be bringing gift paper and some bags to wrap these presents in if you're unable to feel free t bring them and we'll play fancy santa's helpers!

The holidays are upon us, and so it's time to break out your ugly holiday sweaters and festive cosplay and join us for the last SDStuck meet of 2016, our annual 'Sweaters and Snowflakes' meet! All cosplays from any and all fandoms are welcome to attend. Events planned (subject to change): - Potluck - Drawing contest - Photoshoot - The ever popular Juju Shocker - A planned 'Toy Town' fundraiser (more on that later) *Disclaimers and Important Things: - Please be mindful that we are in a public area where there might be young kids and families about, so try and limit swearing and suggestive dialogue to a minimum. - If you have allergies or asthma, please bring any medication you may need in case of emergency. If you can, bring a first aid kit or any supplies to help your fellow SDStucks in need. We don't want anyone in in the hospital! - Be a good example to others. We don't want to give the cosplay community a bad reputation because of the actions of one person. - We are not responsible for lost/stolen/misplaced items. If you need to go somewhere for a time, please have someone you trust watch over your stuff while you are away. - When the meetup is over, please pick up all your trash and throw them in the nearby waste recepticles. Let’s leave the area as clean and as tidy as it was when we first arrived. - Drama of any kind will NOT be tolerated. *IMPORTANT NOTICE*

We are aware that there will be a major event in Balboa Park (the Alzheimer's walk) the same day as this meet. Their event starts in the morning (around 8:00 AM) so it should be ending around the time that our meet begins, so our meet will proceed as scheduled and the start time will not change. Just be aware parking may still be limited, so it is advised to arrive early.

Zombie Promstuck

So, someone once asked if we’re going to have a zombie meet this October. Then recently somebody asked if this year we would be having a Promstuck meet. So I figure, why not combine the two and make it a Zombie Prom?

Dress up in zombiefied formal attire and ask out your matesprit/moirail friend if they want to come. It’s going to be a pretty spooky meet that’s not worth missing out on!

Date/Time: Saturday, October 15 at 12-4 PM

Location: Pepper Grove Park

*Events: (subject to change): - Music and dancing (request what songs you want us to play) - Photoshoot - Potluck - Juju Shocker - A walk around Balboa Park for those who have a certain creature catching phone app - The return of the Drawing Contest

*Face Paint, Props & Prop Weapons, and Chalk Drawings - Face Paint = Almost anything goes, but take it easy on the fake blood and gore. - Props & Prop Weapons = If you need something to defend yourself from zombies, make sure it’s just a toy/prop and not a real weapon. Toy guns are okay as long as they’re not altered in any way and still have the orange tips showing. If you are unsure if your prop is allowed, show us a picture and we will decide. - Chalk Drawings = Don’t bring any.

Important things for the upcoming meet:

1. If you need to smoke/vape, please do it somewhere away from the group. There are people in the group who do not want to be around said people, so try and be courteous to your fellow SDStucks. 2. If you are going to bring drinks, DO NOT bring any alcoholic beverages, since we have minors in our group. You will be asked to leave if you do. 3. Since Ocean Beach is new to some people, it can be easy to lose your way. If you need to go somewhere or need some time alone away from the group, please let us know. Here are some pictures of the meet! People will be meeting up at the rock in the first photo and walking over to the actual location if needed - streets are narrow and often hectic in the summer! Parking is limited so you may need to park a few blocks away and walk. There are closer places where you can pay to park, but it can get expensive since we’ll be there for 4+ hours (especially if you plan on staying for the bonfire.)

The large grassy area in the fourth photo is the actual meet location. It’s nearby tower two and three. Hope to see you all there!

Hey, I just moved to san diego and I'm interested in the bonfire meet up and future meetups, but do you know the address of the bonfire meetup yet? I have to see how far it is from me. And also is it okay if I'm 15? What are the average ages of people who meet up?

The bonfire is at Ocean Beach.

Any and all ages are welcomed. Average age is teens.

Ocean Beach

It's getting close to the end of summer vacation and you may have to prepare for the inevitability that is going back to school. So, why not celebrate the last days of summer with one more beach meet? You can wear either beach or school-themed cosplay for this one.

We are going to have this in a relatively new location, Ocean Beach. And since this is a planned bonfire, expect the meet to go well into the evening. The exact location will be posted later.

- Drawing Contest - Music and dancing - Potluck - Photoshoot by the water (and on land) - A bonfire of sorts
