Is homemade food better than fast food?
It is quite a debate whether homemade food is comparatively better than fast food or not. Mostly people do say âyes, it is!â We keep hearing the benefits of homemade food starting off the list from the food being nutritious, use of organic ingredients and above all, it saves money. At home we make food that is suitable for our health and what is suggested by our nutritionist. We may use less sodium, sugar and saturated fat. We avoid adding ingredients we are allergic to, for example herbs. But do all these arguments prove homemade food to be better because today even restaurants provide us with customized fast food.
Almost all restaurants have variety of fast food that is gluten free and vegetarian. They take customized orders in order to exceed customerâs satisfaction level. One can easily find restaurants of different themes today offering serving special fast food.
The taste âconspiracyâ between homemade and restaurantâs fast food is never ending. Restaurants and cafes try to be consistent on their food quality and taste so they donât lose customers in this tough competitive industry of food. But one thing that makes homemade food a bit tastier is the forever special ingredient of âloveâ added by our mothers, wives or others whoever is cooking.
The comparison of both is difficult and would always remain argumentative because both have their own pros and cons. I believe today life has become so fast that it doesnât even matter whether its homemade or fast food from our favorite restaurants. What matters is that we want to spend some quality time with friends and family, we want to enjoy ourselves from our daily routine. Hanging out or gathering at home is just another way to feel fresh and enhance our mood as well as relationships. Where kitchen accessories have created cooking ease for all of us, the restaurants on other hand are pressing hard to make customers feel contended by serving them the best food their taste buds remember in a divine way.
Still the comparison would always step in because we try to make ârestaurant-likeâ fast food at home probably because we like it that way only with the perception that our loved ones would enjoy that we did something special for them.
