This is going to be my fanfic blog mostly reblogging other fanfictions that are reader x canon characters. I’ll reblog male, female, gender neutral, and pretty much any gender reader inserts. I replace the reader in my head with male terms so I read a lot of fics people write.

I’m from the US, so if I’m writing characters from different countries I’m bound to have some mistakes. Feel free to correct me. I may ask for your source just so I can make sure I’m making the right changes, I promise I’m not being defensive. I’ll probably write most for male or gender neutral reader but I may do female reader. I am a dude so feel free to suggest or correct me on details in female insert fics.

Also if you DM me don't take it personally if I don't respond, I just only talk when I feel like it and am awkward.

This will just be things I enjoy. So mostly just about characters I like. No designated fandom but at the moment I’ve been brainrotting Sanemi Shinazugawa [Demon Slayer] the most. Ambessa Medarda [Arane], Shiro Oogami [BNA], Von Lycaon [ZZZ], Husk [Hazbin Hotel] and plenty of others. I will reblog fics with them and other characters I like but I don't know how much exists so don't expect too much of them.

Maybe I’ll write my own stories but they’ll mainly be self indulgent. I don’t really write smut but hey, you never know maybe I’ll try something new out once in a while. My smut writing is often very vague and not explicit. Feel free to send ideas/requests. Just know it is completely off if I’m motivated or not. I may not write something you send. Don’t take it personally, but especially if it’s a character/fandom I don’t know I probably won’t do it. Ask box is always open but I have anon turned off for the time being. I don't really format my posts or add borders so sorry. Most I'll do is use official pictures of characters. If I accidently use a piece of fanart I mistook as official art, feel free to reach out and give me the link to the artist so I can credit them in the post.

I will only write platonic fics for characters that are minors. I don’t age up characters, sorry. I don’t have anything against people that do, but I personally am not comfortable writing them. I may reblog posts with multiple characters that feature all Hashira but any canon underaged characters in masterposts will only be on this blog if it's not a smut fic. This goes for other fandoms too.

With that said he is nowhere near a romantic LOL I imagine him falling for someone and having no idea what to do w himself, like before confessing or getting together he’d probably be so like passive aggressive or awkward at first, I Imagine him going to obanai after he gave mitsuri the green socks like “…..how’d you do that….” Like sanemi would know everything ever abt the girl he’s in love with but would hardly be able to look her in the eye. But after training with her one day he works up the balls to pat her on the shoulder and mumble good job and the smile she gives him replays In his head for the next week. Sanemis lowkey got no game at first bc he absolutely needs to figure out what affection and love even are to him, definitely trial and error once you guys are together and he learns how to be soft but gawd damn is the wind hashira a quick learner and oh my does he care enough to put in the effort. You only need to tell him ONCE “I don’t like when you yell at me” and he will NEVER raise his voice again it’s almost militant the way he tries to learn affection and love like you’ll have to teach him to ease up a little…. But he will undoubtedly learn. And when he is finally comfortable in your arms and opening up his own for you, he will be the type to let the little things speak for themselves. A hand on your side, his gaze always on you, turning to face you as soon as he senses you walk into a room, knowing what you feel and want before you even voice it… his love is the one thing he’s quiet about, it’s the one thing he holds too close to share with others

The early days of the relationship

A "tsundere" with a hot temper: At first, Sanemi would be hot-headed, stubborn, and aggressive, and he would push you away out of fear of losing you. He might even deny his feelings for you, but his blush and body language would contradict his words.

Awkward with affection: Sanemi would have little to no experience with relationships, so he would be awkward and clueless about showing affection. He might be hesitant to hold your hand, believing his own to be too scarred and rough.

Subtle acts of service: Instead of grand romantic gestures, he would show his care through subtle actions, like making sure you've eaten or are safe after a long mission.

You are his calming presence: Your touch would have an inexplicable calming effect on him. A hug from behind or a soft kiss would be enough to quell his anger.

Once his trust is earned

A big softie in private: When you're alone, the protective facade melts away, and he becomes incredibly soft. He would love to hold you while you rest your head on his chest, even though he might grumble about it.

Secretly loves praise: His pride might stop him from admitting it, but he loves hearing your praise and appreciation. A compliment on his strength or his efforts would make him blush but leave him very pleased.

Fiercely protective: His protectiveness comes from a place of fear—specifically, the fear of losing another person he loves. He would go to extreme lengths to ensure your safety, even if it means scaring you away from danger.

A wounded but healing heart: By loving him, you would help him work through his deep-seated trauma from losing his family. He would find healing in your touch and your calm presence, allowing him to slowly open up and feel worthy of happiness.

An ohagi-loving man: You might discover his favorite food, ohagi, and learn that he secretly loves to make it. He'd never admit it outright, but he would be overjoyed if you ate some and enjoyed it.

A loyal and devoted partner

Actions over words: He would forever be a man who shows his love through actions rather than words. While he might not often say "I love you," his loyalty and unwavering support would make his feelings clear.

A partner, not a subordinate: While he is overprotective, he would also respect your strength and abilities. He'd be proud of your accomplishments and would acknowledge you as his equal, even if he still worries constantly about your well-being.

A softer, more cooperative future: In the time after the final battle, a mellower, more cooperative side of Sanemi would emerge. He would be capable of smiling and making peace with others, and you would be a significant reason for his healing and growth.

The moment you land the hit, he pausee and just rubs the spot you landed on. Like, "???" It didn't hurt, just surprised him. It's not longe before he grins about it though.

"Now that's strength! You've been holding out on me!" And he literally drags you into a even bigger spar match.

You land the hit and she stares at you for a long second, blinking in surprise for a long second. Then she just smirks, "my, that almost hurt. Are you trying to assassinate me already?"

She's teases you about it whole the rest of the session, but really, she's proud.

He pauses mid swing and just blinks. "You've grown so much." He's not even mad about it or anything, if anything, he's super proud of you

Now he's competitive and wants to spar. Like all the time.

He trains a bit harder next time though. Just so he can get you back.

You hit her, and shes just like, "oh my gosh!! You're getting stronger!!!" She immediately grabs your hand, eyes sparkling, "I'm proud!!"

Though you do catch him glancing at you afterwards with a tiny smile.

He blinks, not even surprised or shocked by it, "oh." Then he just tilts his head at you one way then does it the other way, as if trying to see your expression.

"That was good." Anddd just goes back to sparring with you, he does think you're getting stronger though!!

You hit him and his grin widens immediately, "YES!! SEE? You're learning, finally!!" It's a compliment, but he kinda makes it sound like an insult somehow.

He's thrilled about it and even starts going a little harder on you

You hit him and he gasp dramatically, clutching his chest like, "you wound me, dearest!! Physically and emotionally!!" Fr though, he doesn't care that much

But he is impressed, and will spend just about his whole day bothering you about it, it makes you feel like you're the one who got hit.

You hit him, and he's like, "?" Like he's confused that you actually just hit him, and he times his head blinking. "Oho? Is this a dream, hm?"

When he realizes it isn't, he just giggles, "you're getting feisty, adorable."

Honestly, he just laughs when you do finally land a hit on him, "heh, didn't think you had it in ya.." Actually a little proud that you're learning tho.

He stops instantly once he registers your hit on him, and narrows his eyes at you, "...you're improving, I see." That probably means a lot if it's coming from him.

He screams at first, "AHHH, SOMEONE'S BEHIND ME- oh, it's you. " dude is instantly happy once he realizes it's you there, then just clings onto you.

"Please never let go ever again" and he's just clinging onto you

Reflexively throws you over his shoulder and </3 then he realizes it's you and just like, "WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SOMETHING?!! " literally thought it was a surprise attack.

Then he goes quiet before mumbling, "... Do it again, though"

He instantly freezes, and just tenses up. But, when he does realise it's you, his whole body softens, "...oh. It's you." He doesn't really turn around though.

He he lowkey likes it, he won't say it though.

"AH! A SURPRISE ATTACK-! Oh! It's you!" Then he just burste out laughing, "how wonderful! You give the best hugs!" Lowkey doesn't even mind it.

Just pats your hands affectionately and enjoys the hug.

He immediately grins, "flashly move, my dear! You've caught me off guard." And he chuckles before gently spinning you around. Gently, yes...

"You're luck I like surprises" he says, as he spins you around faster

She gasps softly, surprised, but then she let's out a light giggle over it, "oh my, you scared me." But, she leans into it, tilting her head

Have you ever been just...down, and had the feeling of "I want to go home" even when you are at home? I'm not sure how to describe it...

Anyway, here's my thoughts on how a few of the KnY boys would react to you having a little depression moment, saying "I want to go home" even though you are- in fact- at home with them.

Kyojuro:

It's sighed out of your lips while cooking

Kyojuro's head whips around, eyebrows bunching together

He's not quite sure he heard you properly, so he asks you to repeat yourself

When you do, he just blinks

"I see. Shall we visit your parents/guardian soon?"

You think about it

What do you want?

A shrug has him frowning, worry pressing into his handsome face

You find yourself being pulled away from the stove, despite weak protests, and you're turned to face him, bright eyes staring hard into your own

Strong hands caress your face, thumbs brushing your cheeks so softly

"I'm just...tired, I think," is what you finally say

"I understand, my love," his smile is soft, but no less bright than any other. "You need to rest. Don't fret about a single thing, I will take care of it."

You aren't totally sure what that means, but you nod, and he presses several small kisses to your face, making you laugh

Sanemi:

You're training together when you say it

More like groan it, your whole body sore

It makes him jolt, a long "Huuuh?" escaping him

"You are home, idiot," he says it affectionately, you know that, but you sigh, heavy and tired.

That gets his attention, now he knows you aren't just being silly

No, you're serious.

His first thoughts are "What did I do wrong? How can I fix it?"

He's frozen as his mind spins, desperately searching for answers to questions his lips don't speak

He watches you put your equipment down and drop onto the ground, laying on your back and just staring up at the sky

It takes a good minute and a half before he finally moves.

He may have also not been breathing that whole time, but he's neither confirming nor denying that

He moves to your side, letting the wooden sword fall from his hand as his knees hit the ground.

He doesn't lay, just sits

He's not the best with comfort, but that was alright

This was enough for now

You'd wake up- not even realizing you'd fallen asleep- in your shared bed, his whole body wrapped around yours, hand pressed to your chest, feeling your heart beat under calloused fingers, his face buried in your hair

Tengen (and wives):

You sit up in the middle of the night, sleep evading you like the slipperiest of demons, and sneak out of the room

You sit outside, knees pulled to your chest, and just stare into the cool, quiet night

In true shinobi fashion, you don't notice his appearance, not even when he lowers himself to sit next to you

You don't become aware of his presence until an arm wraps around you, and you're pulled into his side

Tengen knew when to be quiet, despite what most thought

You mumble the words, avoiding his gaze, noting how his fingers twitch ever so slightly

"Not very flashy of me, I know," You try to joke, but it comes out flat, showing just how tired you really were

"You're always flashy, to me," He says, pressing a kiss to your head. "Even when you're like this."

You can't help believing him. After all, if anyone knew flashy, it was him.

Hinatsuru is who appears next, followed not long after by Makio and Suma

Before you know it, the five of you are in a pile under the stars

Tengen whines the next day about his back hurting, but the grin on his face when he sees you looking a bit brighter tells you that he doesn't regret it, not even the littlest bit

💚Sanemi Shinazugawa 💚

Acts of service (Intensity: 6/10)

Sanemi isn’t very good with words, often coming off as rude and cold, even if he tries to be nice. He just has this talent to come off as an asshole. His intimidating appearance is not helping it.

So instead of relying on his words to express his love and affection for you, he would much rather do acts of service, even if they are small. Sanemi helps you undress after a long day, his movement slow and gentle as if you’re the most fragile thing that ever grazed his touch, folding your clothes and putting them aside to wash later. He massages your shoulders, his large palms hitting all the right spots and making the knots disappear. He cooks for you, having picked up a recipe or two from his mother, who taught him back then when Sanemi had to cook for his siblings with whatever they had. The meals he makes are personal comfort dishes and he likes sharing them with you.

Physical affection (Intensity: 8/10)

Something Sanemi just loves to do after a long night his duties is to just melt in your arms. Sanemi is a very light sleeper, waking up because of everything and any sound, but something that makes him feel more secure is to sleep in your arms. The warmth of your skin makes him feel safe and comforted, feel loved and wanted, some sort of save haven. Somewhere he can always return to.

But Sanemi also shows his affections during the day, may it be some quiet handholding or holding you by your waist, reminding himself that you are right here, with him. Hugs are a little difficult for him though, he just doesn’t really know what to do. Sanemi stiffens up immediately when you hug him, especially out of nowhere. 

Quality time (Intensity: 10/10)

(I’m going to keep this part short since it was already kind of in the two above)

If he could, Sanemi would spend all of his time in the day and night with you. Doesn’t matter what you two are doing, he just wants to be close to you and soak in your presence. He likes it when you watch him train though, that’s when he gets to show off all his muscles and skill, making you laugh and perhaps even jokingly squeeze his bicep.

“Y’know, I can make us some ohagi after this. I-If ya want.”

Physical affection (Intensity: 9/10)

As a blind man, Gyomei relies on his other senses to guide him. His favourite way to express his affection also is influenced by that. Since he can’t stare at you for hours a day, even if he’d love to, he’ll simply hold you close for hours as compensation. Since Gyomei is much larger than you, he loves to cuddle you close against his chest. His favourite thing is to caress your back while you listen to his calm heartbeat.

During the day Gyomei likes having his large palm on your body. For example on your shoulder to show his support and comfort, or on your waist so he can take a walk with you while staying close, or just gentle, but big bear hugs. 

Words of affirmation (Intensity: 7/10)

Gyomei likes having long conversations with you during breaks of his training or after a long night fighting demons. He enjoys listening to you talk about your day and tell him all about the things you have done, no matter how boring or unimportant it seemed to you. Gyomei would sit there in silence, rubbing his palms together in his usual gesture and listen with a soft smile on his face.

What Gyomei loves to do as well is to compliment you. He can’t really say anything about your appearance, not that he cares, so his compliments are always different and even a little creative. From complimenting how you smell, to the way how comforting your footsteps sound. 

“Ah, my light, it’s you. Sit, I have just finished my daily training. We can talk a little.”

Receiving gifts (intensity: 6/10)

To say that Kyojuro loves your cooking is an understatement. This man will compliment your cooking in every way possible, no matter if you dish him the most exquisite five star high grade wagyu or plate him one of Tengen’s Muscle Mice with a sprinkle of salt. Whatever it is, he will eat it and he will thank you for it (loudly). 

Kyojuro loves it when you give Senjuro gifts too, it makes him feel warm inside when he sees his little brother happy and taken care of. 

He also adores it when you buy him things that remind you of him. For example, a yukata with a flame pattern, or buy him a batch of sweet potatoes that he will inhale in a span of two days maximum.

Words of affirmation (intensity: 10/10)

Kyojuro lives and breathes to praise you on everything you do. He adores you and isn’t shy to express it, even in front of the other hashira (even though Sanemi gives him a glare every time he does it).

He praises you on everything you do. How you’re dressed, your hair, your face, your voice… the list goes on and on.

But when it’s dark out and you two are in bed, he whispers his sweeting nothings and compliments into your ear while holding you close to his body.

Physical affection (intensity: 8/10)

Kyojuro’s body is a heater, wich is gruelling in the summer but a blessing in the winter. He wraps you into his arms, holding you close to his warm chest, caressing your back with his calloused palm and planting soft kisses on your cheek, forehead and lips. His body warmth is enough for the two of you, so blankets are not really needed.

Kyojuro is a cuddlebug, so cuddling in the summer is also a must, even though the sheets ans bodies will be soaked and dripping in the morning. You will be sweating, and Kyojuro will somehow find a way to compliment the smell of your sweat.

“My dearest flame! I just bought you s matching kimono. Now the yukata you bought and your new kimono can match! It will suit you and your body perfectly!”

Tengen adores spending time with all three of his wives, even more when it’s time at home, just chilling. Tengen could be just having your head on his lap, braiding your hair while you gossip with Makio, Hinatsuru and Suma. Tengen of course chimes in when it gets juicy.

Sometimes you visit the hotsprings all together. Tengen uses this opportunity to flex his muscles and show off, but you and the other three just giggle quietly at his embarrassing tan marks. Even though Tengen doesn’t enjoy being laughed at, he enjoys the time he spends with you and Hinatsuru, Makio and Suma.

Words of affirmation (intensity: 7/10)

Tengen loves to get complimented on his flamboyantness and flashiness, but he loves complimenting you as well. He calls you flashy, beautiful, flamboyant, adorable and more. He’s not very creative with his words, but at least he’s expressing his love!

“Well, I have to say that you three look VERY flamboyant tonight!”

“Can you call us ANYTHING but flamboyant for once?!”

“Well, we do appreciate it.”

“Yeah, but he can change them up every once in a while!”
