timeline

a slightly altered timeline.

I used a random number generator and got 6. the timeline in which everything that could go wrong from this point on… does.

Haha, you mean the Decepticons literally winning the war and everything going to hell? 

Basically, Darkest Hour happens, and everything goes worse than it does at the start of season three. I try to base Jazz’s timeline around season two but sometimes I may mention season 3, but I mainly stick to two because that’s before Ultra Magnus and Predaking are introduced. Though, my whole timeline thing is more or less flexible if I’m honest. 

Either way, Darkest Hour would go as it did, the humans being kidnapped, the Omega Lock being destroyed, the Autobot Base being blown to smithereens- Basically, all of the fun stuff. 

Instead of Smokescreen pulling Optimus out of the wreckage, the Decepticons get to him first. And with Optimus being confirmed as dead and the Matrix now in Megatron’s servos, it only gets worse from there. 

Ultra Magnus and Team Prime fighting Dark Mount? Ha, ha, ha, that barely went well (until Optimus showed up) in canon, and it definitely goes wrong here. Jazz would’ve been against this plan and with everything going to hell, would’ve challenged Magnus’ command- Which would’ve caused a few fractures of the command structure, only lowering moral even more. 

And since Megatron was ready to execute Autobots right off the bat, the same would surely apply here. And since the humans decided to help them, the nearest large city would’ve been destroyed by Dark Mount’s cannon. 

In short, the majority of the Autobots on earth would probably be murdered and humanity is left in a constant state of fear what to do next. 

I imagine Ratchet would be left alive since Shockwave would find his knowledge useful (which eventually leads to Megatron reviving Cybertron and recreating the world as he sees fit). 

Either way, Jazz either dies during the initial the attack on Dark Mount or he continues his espionage in hope to get the upper hand or to smuggle autobots far away from the Decepticon’s reach- But in the end he’d eventually get captured in his struggles to stop the Decepticons.

the timeline in which they knew beforehand of something they would have prevented if given the chance.

the timeline in which they continue on from the current point in their lives to the best happy ending that is within their reach, where nothing that has happened so far is negated but from now on, the happy things start piling up.

the timeline in which everything that could go wrong from this point on… does.

the timeline in which they never experience the loss that taught them something important.

the timeline in which they gain everything they want, except for the thing they wanted the most.

the timeline in which they live the life they currently see the most likely for them.

the timeline in which something big to them never happened.

the timeline in which something very little happened differently, but it changed a lot.

the timeline in which they had a person in their life when they needed one the most.

the timeline in which instead of the most influential person in their life, they had a person who had the complete opposite effect on them.

the timeline in which they took a chance they didn’t in canon.

the timeline in which they let a chance go by.
