Do you have any tips for finding Vampires to be a donor for? I'm not a vampire myself but I find great comfort in giving blood and want to become a donor. I'm just not sure where to find vampires who are looking for one!

Sadly, we are currently at a point in the community where there is no central resource to connect vamps to donors. However, that doesn't mean there aren't ways to find someone. If you live in or close to a major city, check to see if there is a court, coven, house, etc. in the area. They can be hard to find, but many have facebook pages or websites. Of course, take care to make sure they are the kinds of people you would like to connect with before jumping in. Barring that, you can check out a few vamp discord servers, some of which have places for donors, and I assume ways to help connect vamps and donors. Servers like the ones hosted by @blackrosesociety-vampyres, @projectvampyre, VCN (Vampire Community News), and @theredcellar would be a good place to start. If you haven't already, it would be a good idea to look up the donor bill of rights and familiarize yourself with feeding methods, basic anatomy, and first aid. I hope you can find a good fit, and thank you for being willing to help, it's always nice to see.

hey, I saw a few of ur posts on finding irl real vamp communities - how do you do that? do you have tips? especially in areas that aren’t very known for vampyres (as opposed to like New Orleans)

The Black Books used to be the place to go. With that resource no longer available, you can always check the similar community connections map that The Vampire Coven has been putting together [https://thevampyrecoven.com/map/]. It isn't as full yet, but it has some features I like more. I have, however, had a difficult time putting my info into it, so I need to go back and try again.

Other than that, I have found most of my connections by searching everywhere I can, using as many search terms as I can. Facebook, as much as I don't like it, seems to hold a good bit of vamp community group pages and can be a good place to search for your area plus 'vampire house' or 'vampire coven'. Besides that, I have just asked around on forums and the various vamp based discords to see if there is anyone else in the area. It does tend to take quite a bit of patience, but eventually you are fairly likely to run into another vamp who has been looking for ages as well.
