a sweet lil vampire tour. train rides over the lake, heading into the heart of downtown Chicago.
the city is beautifully lit. even at 11pm, there's enough light for a nighttime architecture tour. or so they say.
tours of Block37, the underground shops, the art exhibits in the pedway. a late night movie.
someone warned you not to go to lower wacker with the "bloodsucker tours", but you can't resist.
you need to see it through their eyes...
on a walking tour with your vampire guide and they call the neighborhood "the circulatory system".
you think it's about blood, and it is, but it's also about so much more. imagine the stories they have to tell about the way the neighborhood developed. the way the facades changed through time. the streets moving from brick to pavement, the updated social norms.
