things to note about ouran:

when tamaki realizes haruhi’s not actually male “wait, you’re a girl?” she replies with: “well, biologically i am.” (note: biologically.)

“i don’t care if people think of me as a boy or a girl”

“i actually think that thinking yourself as a boy or a girl is lesser than thinking yourself as a person”

“i’ll refer to myself as ore” (how you refer to yourself in japanese if you are male)

uses all pronouns- doesn’t care if people refer to her as male, doesn’t correct people when they use he/him pronouns, doesn’t mind at all.

An interpretation of a scene from my fic Worse for Wear:

Hinata slipped his hands under Kageyama’s shirt, sliding them up his torso as he lowered his face closer to Kageyama’s. He was quiet, his lips pursed as if midway through forming a question, and glints of inquisition in his eyes. Kageyama continued to look into those pools of honeyed brown; he was probably even blinking less. He allowed his hands to slowly wander up Hinata’s back and feather a pattern onto the surface of his smooth skin. They stayed like this for a while.
