In a single gulp, Sania downed what was probably her fifth glass of water, or what she thought was water, and sauntered back into the dance floor. She didnât care that her dancing didnât match the music nor if the people around her were throwing her looks. She wasnât here to be prim and proper. After that hell of a week, she was here to let loose and have fun and that was exactly what she was going to do. And besides, nobody knew who she was beneath that mask. The world was spinning and she could barely keep her footing as she danced to her own rhythm.
It didnât take long before she completely lost her balance and fell backwards into someone. âArrey! Iâm so sorry. Someone-â She looked around only to find that her clumsiness and stupidity could only be the reason she stumbled, and nothing else. âSomeone bumped into me, and I bumped into you and I swear it wasnât my fault. Itâs this damn mask, and why is the music so fucking boring? Are you alright? The water here is wild. The world is literally spinning.â And suddenly, she was laughing out of nowhere. Clearly, it wasnât just water she had consumed. She was breathless and red-faced under her mask. The talking did not stop even as she struggled to get back up on her feet. âHow is everyone not falling asleep to this damn music? When are they going to play Dancing Queen?â
