Sometimes I miss Jonsa so much, my heart aches.
The kiss that launched a thousand ships.
Oops, I’ve fallen down the Jonsa rabbit hole again!
Can someone recommend some Jonsa post-reveal fics? I’m so pissed that we didn’t get to see any of the Starks’ reactions to the parentage reveal, especially Sansa’s!
I miss Jon and Sansa with all my heart.
Sansa Stark in s8 as Lady Violet Crawley best one-liners:
Sansa seeing Jon arriving with Dany:
Jon: She’ll be a good queen-to all of us.
Sansa:
How that scene should have went
Daenerys: Your sister doesn’t like me. (…) She doesn’t need to be my friend. But I am her queen. If she can’t respect me…
Jon being interrupted by Sansa:
Daenerys: Now I am here, half a world away fighting “Jon’s war”.
Sansa:
Tyrion: *opens his mouth*
Sansa:
Sansa at the war council:
Jon: I’ve never been a Stark..
Sansa:
Sansa, Arya and Bran: *want Dany the fuck out of the North*
Jon: I pledged myself and the North to her cause (translation: I am an honourable fool)
Sansa:
Sansa calling all her bannermen after hearing news of Jon’s imprisonment:
Sansa at Jon’s trial:
THIS IS GOLDDDDD
Gwendoline Christie is the actress for Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones. She stands at 6 feet 3 inches tall and took swordfighting, horseriding, and stagefighting lessons for her part, as well as gaining 14 pounds of muscle, to accurately portray Brienne. (x)
She was also terrified of cutting her hair because she’d spent her life believing it was one of the only things that would make people see her as feminine despite her height. In an interview with TV Guide she said:
I struggled for a long time with [cutting] my hair, but then I’m grateful for the opportunity to realize that femininity doesn’t have to come from hair or any of those traditional female archetypes of appearance, So, that’s been exciting actually. I can’t speak with any kind of authority whatsoever because I’m just an actor and I only have my opinions, but I do think it’s really refreshing to have a woman depicted on a mainstream TV show that doesn’t obey typical aesthetics of females and the way they have been portrayed in the past. And I’m really excited to be portraying one of those women. And I hope that her popularity signals a greater expansion of people’s views about men and women and that gender types can be more flexible.
She’s so so so so great. I think she’s just incredible.
She’s so beautiful! And really just an icon. Ma’am, you are an icon!
Ok people, GOT
Just saw the documentary and seriously, Sophie was right when she said it was disrespectful to request a redo of the season. Thousands of people worked their asses off for a long time sometimes in really hard conditions, away from their families and missing special things with them because they were giving everything they had to make this show. And yes at the end they were all tired and wanted out but after seeing everything they had to endure while filming, it’s understandable.
Yes, maybe we didn’t like a lot of things that happened or didn’t happen but these people worked really hard, it was genius to make a documentary from the POV of people bts and the extras. So stop complaining!
jon stark
reblog if you agree bc fuck canon
I will spend my next months (and years) of my life reblogging Jonsa content, about what they gave us and what it could have been, because the way we ship them didn’t change, they are alive, they have a true good heart and there are still so many subtext and foreshadowing, and I’m very happy about it, I hope you are too because I love you all guys and Jonsa will sail in our minds.
Y’all please don’t leave me alone in this tag because I’ve been here too long to leave now
„ned stark promised sansa he would find her someone brave, gentle and strong. so she grew up and found herself”
this is so powerful
You're 100% right about Sansa being alone but that's why the open ending is good imo! She's crowned queen, that's the last we see of her, we don't know what happens one week from then. Or month or year. Who returns. Someone new or someone old. Anything is possible! I refuse to be sad for the qitn because I know she'll find her happiness!
oh man lol, okay… this is really difficult to explain to people who aren’t like this (and trust me i wish more than ANYTHING that i wasn’t Like This), especially in fandom. but omg i am TERRIBLE with open endings; they drive me I N S A N E.
i know (trust me after the last few days, i know) that this is not a popular position to have lol. but it’s just how i am. i know most people in fandom ARE, but i’m just not a creative brain; some cute word play in a legal memo is about as creative as i get. to me the end of the story is the end of the story. so technically i don’t know that Sansa finds her happiness. we can hope it, we can assume it, we can headcanon about it, we can hold prayer circles and chant incantations for it, but i will never know for sure.
and honestly, the thing about open endings is that they can be interpreted in negative ways too. there’s also the possibility that the Stark kids might not ever see each other again, that Jon and Arya will never come back to Winterfell, that they do end up being separated indefinitely. like, if i am perfectly honest, i interpreted Jon’s final scene as him turning his back on his past life and leaving it all behind to start a new one. we don’t know. fore me, to not really and truly know the ultimate fates of these characters i that love SO MUCH in this story that i love SO MUCH is really difficult. and the fact that GRRM has confirmed on multiple occasions that the ending of the book series will generally be the same doesn’t particularly help me feel any better about it lol.

I'm Sam. Trying really really hard not to burst out laughing at the awkwardness of it all.
Yay more Jonsa fics! Can you pls write one about Sansa sending Jon ravens every month asking him to come home, with no replies, and only Bran/Tormund sending her messages that tells her Jon received them. One day Sansa gets the flu and is unable to send the letter. Then she gets overwhelmed by her queenly duties and the letter is put off. A few weeks later Jon arrives, ready to protect her
ahhhh! okay so i loved this idea so much but i did tweak it very slightly to fit my idea of a very worried, protective jon.thanks for the request!
send me prompts

Ahhh I freaking love this!!! Thank you!
It really bothers me that Jon Snow from 806 will be the lasting impression people will have of him. TV Jon will be dogged for the rest of time, and I’ll have to hear valid critiques and jokes and censures towards this character.
Those writers really did that to him, turned him into that. Two seasons of him gradually going from Jon Snow to Jim Frost, or whoever the fuck he became, because that wasn’t the guy I started reading when I was 15 or 16. That’s not the man I started watching in the pilot episode.
Stripping him of everything he was to service one character, the abusive tyrant Danakin, and a plot twist, will never not bother me. Making him justify her murdering him if she wanted or her decision to murder a million civilians will always, always grate on me. They really did that to him. Christ.
I’m taking SOME solace in the fact that:
1) People are upset with the finale
2) They’re not upset that Dany died/isn’t Queen in the end
3) They ARE upset with Jon Snow’s treatment
They sacrificed Jon’s character at the altar of Dany worship and people hated it.
ohh these statistics are pretty
Edmure: *speaks*
Sansa, channeling the spirit of Brynden Tully: sit the fuck down
They really are 'The Last of the Starks'
There won't be anymore after them.
honestly what’s been on my mind all day is that someone pointed out that Catelyn Tully Stark is in the afterlife, completely satisfied with the finale because the Tullys are freakin everywhere
King of the Six Kingdoms? Tully
Queen in the North? Tully
Lord of the Riverlands? Tully
Lord of the Eyrie? Tully
and honestly????
And Jon Snow has been exiled...
